Chris Burke is a trailblazer. I’m so happy he was given the opportunity to star in a hit show for so many seasons. He did a phenomenal job!

I actually met Chris back in 1999 in Steven's Point Wisconsin what a real honor it was he is genuinely a very great guy. Loved this show so much. I miss it
Very lucky to have met him😊
Tard normalization has not been good for society.
I was lucky enough to be Chris Burke's stand-in and stunt double on the episode of Touched By An Angel he starred in. What a great guy to hang out with for 9 days during filming. He has such a sense of humor. He would keep us all rolling all day everyday.
Quit flexing
He's got a magnetism about him. It's kind of hard to take your eyes off him when he's on the screen because he's so good at acting and he has such an infectious personality. What a cool dude!

Life Goes On is one of those timeless shows that you never ever forget.I loved and watched this great heartfelt show faithfully back in the 90s.The cast was magical together.

I never knew someone with Downs could be so high functioning. His social skills are better than mine.
As somebody who has worked in social services ( work and community supports for adults) for almost 20 years, most of them are not, some are, and some can do and achieve to a point, but most cannot get even close to as far as Chris came to. Most of them are significantly disabled and never gain even partial independence as far as functioning on their own.
Seriously, his grace and social skills far exceed mine and I'm cognitively ""normal"" 🙄 (whatever that means)
Yes, "normal people" having the opportunity to meet so special persons receive a gift of life! My cousin with high physic disability has been e real model, even if 2 years younger than me...
Thanks to the families raising them with love: they shine on the hole world
Don't go by him. The vast majority of people with Down syndrome are nowhere near him as far as functioning goes. People love to focus on exceptions like him and act like he's the rule. Don't be fooled. He is the exception yes but he's far from the rule.

I met Chris at Villanova University in Philadelphia Pennsylvania when I was playing Special Olympics soccer it was a big honor to meet him in person and have him watch me play when Special Olympics was having their tourneys for all different events

I'm a 38 year old man. I legit teared up a lil bit.
My god the chemistry between these three actors is so genuine. Patti is perfection.
Patti's okay. I wish people would stop putting her on a pedestal. Just saying...
She’s an ultra radical lunatic liberal in real life. I have 0% use for her. Kellie Martin is 10 times the woman that Patti is.
@@ddjmfanwhy does it bother you if they do?
@@talltalllady Because there are people more deserving.
@@ddjmfan What exactly makes them more deserving than her?
Aw Patti's so sweet! She's just loves them and the show so much
Yes she is. I always loved Patti lupone,a very pretty woman and caring and sweet.
Patti isn't that sweet, sorry.
LMAO you are so salty. What did Patti do to you?@@ddjmfan
@stevo72034 Nothing personally, I just see how she treats people. She has an awful personality. She hated doing the show, it's a fact.
I love how she hugged him and reached out for Kellie to join the hug ❤
I was eight-twelve when this show was on. I don't mind admitting that I loved it whenever I was able to watch it, and very sad when it ended.
Maybe I was the odd girl out for loving such a mature show. It did me good to see this reunion. So cool. Chris is much more talkative than I would've thought. He struck me as quiet in the show.
What I would give to have shows like this, little House, Walton's etc... They were hour shows filled with family life, realism, love, tragedy, and solid TV watching that could really move you... Enter the 2000s and got nothing like it😢
Damn straight!!!
the same here
I agree. I sometimes love raunchy humor. I am a lesbian and I am not the demographic they were shooting for but, I actually have a Pureflix account (something practically no one knows because one has to save face you know!?) But I watch those movies a lot and I cry. We need a little more pureness in this world and she shouldn't have to be ashamed of wanting that.
I got to meet Chris Burke in 1999 in Stevens Point Wisconsin and you want to meet a down to earth wonderful gentleman he's it. Loved him on Life goes on
I loved this show!!! Corky was and still is awesome
Chris Burke is as well. it is amazing to me that he is just two-years younger then me, at age 54, and he is such a wonderful actor and person.
Kellie Martin is my first celebrity crush. I had no idea her voice was in so many cartoons i was watching at that age. I was always drawn to cute girls with glasses LOL
She was a babe in Matinee!
I love her from Troop Beverly Hills and this.
Chris is so intellectua, funnyl and his memory is amazing! After all these years he still has the same spirit.
OMG Patti made me cry when Corky came on set, she's a fabulous lady
She's okay.
You can tell she was very happy to see him again
@@talltalllady Crocodile tears.
@@ddjmfanHow do you know her tears are not real? It's like you have something personal against her.
I loved life goes on Chris Burke is fantastic
I loved this show being a person with same issues it’s so cool to see on the air
Chris and his parents came to mass at our church in Lawrence, KS, when the show was still in production. All 3 were incredibly nice. Chris was all smiles because he got mobbed by a bunch of girls who also had Down Syndrome.
I watched "Life Goes On" all the time.
My gosh, I loved this show when I was a teen. Kellie is the same age as me and I was also a bit of a bookworm with classes, so I could relate. I remember bawling when Tyler died. Chris did such an amazing job.
I was heartbroken when they killed Tyler. I wasn’t a huge fan of Jesse tbh.. probably an unpopular opinion but I preferred Becca with Tyler.
Patti LuPone treats those 2 as if they were her real life kids.
She was their 'mother' for four years.
Yep,cause life goes on 🥺🤕
Corky was the real Masculine Toxic Male of the 80s!
@@scottsullivan7129 Oh, blah dee Oh blah daa
Always had a crush on Kellie Martin. She’s 47 now, and still gorgeous.
When this was on TV I was in high school, so aot of people kinda made fun if the show and Corky. Seeing Chris now, it's easy to see that his disability doesn't really hold him back that much at all. Seems like a sharp dude.
I saw Chris Burke at a Wendys on 4th years ago. Kelli and Patti look awesome. I loved this show growing up.
Did he offer a knuckle sandwich for giving money to wendy?
Thanks for uploading this. When I was younger, I used to watch "Life Goes On" regularly. It was one of my favorite TV shows. That show made me tear up and cry almost every week. "Life Goes On" was such an emotional and heartfelt show and highlighted many important struggles and issues. It's so nice to Kellie Martin, Chris Burke, and Patti LuPone together again! :-) This was a nice video. I'm glad to see that all three of them are doing well. I haven't seen Chris Burke in a long time. Thanks! :-)
My mom loved this show it was on Sunday nights on abc
Life Goes On was a fantastic show, just as good as The Wonder Years. ABC and any other network today don’t make shows as good as this one. I like the fact that Corky wasn’t the main character on the show. Just like any other show, some stories focused on him, but other shows focused on Becca and their parents. It was a well balanced show.
I'm so teary in watching this. I haven't seen the series for a long time. I gave a presentation on Chris Burke in Speaking class when I was at the Uni in 94. My lecturer said to me, "Be like Chris Burke."😢
They still look good. This was a very, very beautiful family show.
Love this show been watching the 1st season dvd. I wish the other seasons were on dvd... I met Chris Burke back in 03 he is a lovely, warm, person... Brilliant actor!!!!
One the best series ever.
it's a show i watched as a young kid because my dad loved Corky's character.I just never realize how its made me understand people better.
That was one of my favorite tv show as a kid along with Quantum leap
It is a very emotional reunion. Life Goes On is a heartwarming show. It will touch your heart. 👍👍😊😁🌈🙏☀
Kelly Martin still has that adorable goofiness about her. She's awesome.
Chris, I loved watching your show when I was a kid in Switzerland. Thanks a lot !
my favorite episode: CORKY BURNS DOWN THE RESTAURANT!!!!
at the end, during the family hug, Chris turns to the camera and WINKS!!!!!!! 😉
I love this show. I want to watch it all over again!!
Despite his handicap Chris burke is terrific! It's amazing how he talks so well.He is smart and clear. Bravo Chris burke!
Well,he probably had good teachers. Not everyone with Downs struggles. I think there's plenty of em that catch on quite well and are high functioning. People tend to just have misconceptions.
He could be naturally funny too. Probably the most offbeat episode was "Invasion Of The Thatcher Snatchers" in which he fights off aliens (it all turns out to be a dream).
@JJ king
Yes, that's kinda what mental disabilities are about.
@JJ king Don't diminish his achievements just to make yourself sound virtuous.
Lyk D'Nine Chris Burke said once “Yes, he does have a disability, but it matters what he can do with his ability.”
Oh I loved that show. It’s great to see them again. 😊
Awww ... thank you soooo much for doing this. You guys want to make me cry. I loved this show.
This was my favorite show growing up!!! The theme song is still one of my favorite songs!!!
Kellie Martin, beautiful woman.
As a kid who was in special ed classes (I was undiagnosed as on the autism spectrum and had a lot of physical delays, and still can't write or ride a bike or skip as an adult), I was really too young to watch the show with my mom, but I liked seeing Corky, who was like a few of my classmates and friends from school, on TV. It was rare to see anyone like the people that I knew on TV, so seeing Corky, and Chris, was always great. What's fantastic now is seeing the love and respect for Chris. Kellie and Patti are treating him exactly like they should, like another person, and one who they love for being CHRIS, not due to his disability/special needs.
We need a life goes on reboot i loved it and i was around kelly age watching this i love chris role as corky
It's in the works
I loved this show!! So did my girls who were only 5/6 at the time
Remember loving this show as a kid. Loved Corky.... also this was the show that taught me about aids and the fear people had (and still have) about it.
*****
Thank you.
Another character on the show has aids you dipshit.
truly believe they are angels on earth and here to teach us all UNCONDITIONAL LOVE AND JOY
Chris is a sweet guy. Great actor.
Everybodys acting like shallow and pandering to Chris on this show, he doesn't need it
Really LOVED this show! Amazing cast...God Bless Them...So nice to see you again. Thank you...
I loved this show coming up as a kid.
I LOVED Life Goes On! Fantastic show!
Kellie went from the girl next door to the mom next door. Everyone looks great!
😭😭😭😭😭I wanna go back to 89.
I loved that series I still see 💜💜💜
life goes on ,love this show so much.
Kelli’s Martin beautiful inside and out
Wish they’d release seasons 2-4. I bought Season 1. Wonderful family show.
I just found it on a site called DVD RARE. I have season 1 but could never find the rest until now. I love THE SHOW! NEVER MISSED AN EPISODE! I have Cerebral Palsy by the way so I can identify with this show and many showcasing people and disabilies. There needs to be more of these!
I was with Down Syndome to I was 10 years old when Life goes on come out
Bless your heart.
I loved the show, Life goes on, I loved Becca Cory and everyone else. I was honored to meet Tracey Needham who played the big sister, I was very sad to see it end.
Greetings from Malaysia.... I watched this show when I was a kid... I am so amazed watching Corky.... And seeing him now... Wow... He's very intelligent
i watched this serie today and i loved it :p
So glad to see this, now I want to watch this again, I have to search it !
It's not available for streaming on any subscription-based streaming platform, nor is it available on DVD (aside from the first season.)
For me, they already have an award, my heart of memories is the best thing that I could thank them for. ❤
This guy is a genius. I wish i had his strengths! Way to go!
I used to love this show. They all look great
I would look forward to watching Live Goes On as a kid every Tuesday. This is special.
No entendí ni madres , pero me emocioné al verlos ....
Beautiful!!!
They all look the same! How could you not love Chris....he is so entertaining and funny!
I love how they try to remember the song...... desmond says to molly and the blah blah oh la di oh la da ...... lol
Me emociones hasta las lagrimas..💞💞💞
I miss the good ole TV shows
Una hermosa serie que vi en mi adolescencia, y ahun veo algunos capítulos en CZcams.
yo recién la veo :c
He reminds me of one of my sweet clients. He could be his brother he's got the same sweet charismatic personality
I love this show I thought it was better than the wonder years which I also loved
Aww I love Chris Burke! He is so kind and amazing!
Thank you for giving me a wonderful youth with this series thank you for your acting work
Darn, I remember I used to watch this series as a kid, early teens and had a huge crush on Becca; she still looks quite nice.
Los años maravillosos, La familia Ingalls y La vida continua...mis series favoritas! 😍
I loved this show. I laughed a lot. Great cast!
I worked in group homes with people with downs syndrome for over 20 years...what a privilege and an amazing expirience
I LOVED this show❤ Cried many times... Especially when Tommy Puetts' Character died....omg... 😭😭😭 like WHAT!! Devastated 💔
I had a crush on Kellie then being about the same age and equally so today! Great cast great show and all amazing people ! ❤
they all are amazing
😢May you enjoy eating this series here in Mexico in the morning, it was very popular, it showed us the beginning of meeting a common family and a boy with down syndrome that hardly anyone knew at that time, I love them 😢😊🎉❤
Was just watching an old episode of Grey's Anatomy... You know, back when it was good. And this lady popped up. Look so familiar from an old TV show.. Kellie Martin. Wow. Brings back some nice memories
I wish Life Goes On went on beyond 1993. What a disappointment that it ended in 1993.
Cómo amé está serie, que hermosos recuerdos. Gracias por eso.
En Ingles: Life Goes On
Patti is one star I can totally relate to.
Good for you. I think she's too much.
Loved this shoe. the Jesse storyline was pretty serious back in the day. Need to watch the show again. somewhere. on Netflix, maybe?
Nope. On You Tube but avoid the episode Armageddon in season 3, it's bad. Libby and Drew fight and she hits him. Very hard to watch.
Is she has very prophetic words when she says from the beginning Chris was a different person from until the end of the show and maybe giving him the responsibility helped him to change......on point
Ejemplo de la familia!!
I met Chris Burke in Bloomington IL back in the 1990s around the time Corky proposed to Amanda on the show. We asked him what he remembered from that time and he replied the dog Arnold! He had fun practicing the proposal with the dog. He posed for a picture with my late husband and I and gv us a signed cast photo. He was friendly and kind. He wore a gold Rolex watch. We never missed the show.
I loved that show …
This was shown here in the UK too, early 90s.I,ve just got the DVD box set.
Great show 👌
This was Must See TV before NBC's so-called must see TV.
NBC's so-called Must See TV wasn't must see TV.
