u know the files are physically stored somewhere right? It is not really useful for them to keep your files for more than a year of them being deleted that'd be just giving space up. I don't think your files are that important unless you're the president.

Google, you have to make a Pixel with Go Pro quality video to justify Google One. What else would I need so much space for? Once I buy in for the videos, I would be tempted to use Google One for original size photos as well. Until then I’m ok with high quality photos.

Trying very hard to compete with iCloud indeed. I always thought of Google as a free version of the services that Apple offers on this domain but hey why make it free when you can make billions in recurring revenue from the middle and working class
Google drive offers 15GB free storage, iCloud offer only 5GB.
imagine being so dumb to think that google drive and google one are same thing. fyi google drive is still present and still gives 15 gb for free but google one is a cloud storage service for all your data backup, etc. you still need to buy storage on drive if you ant more than 15 gb so nothing is free except the initial 15gb. you can still use and store the data on drive like you did this is just a membership thing to extend storage space.

In Google drive if I pay yearly planof 2tb for one time can I use forever that 2tb ? Or after 1year should I pay for one more year? Even my 1st plan storage is still left for use?? And after the expiry of 1year plan , can I watch photos and videos in my drive which are already present??
Does Google one contain CZcams premium too or they're separate subscriptions? If they're separate, then can i have different family groups for both subscription.
