As much as I love these videos Iâm not surprised police turned up after a while đđš
I bet the folk who live there phone them, I dont blame them now, it was great when it was safe and fun for the kids, fkn scum everywhere now who dont give a fk, selfish bastards, the "look at me me me" crowd...ugh.
It's great fun for the kids getting soaked on a hot, sunny day... until some dork like in that Subaru comes along & it all goes pear shaped. I don't want to sound a party pooper - but I would n't let my kids stand there getting wet with some of those clueless, idiotic drivers.
As with anything it doesnât take long for the morons to get involved and eff it up for everyone else!
@@glenncole7721 there have always been children there, long before go pro's. They come round from Rufford Abbey/park and there are walks around the lake. Most children pester their parents to let them go and stand on the footpath bridge. My husband used to take his Hilux thru there in the mid nineties and whilst there were a few twunts, I don't believe they got upto the speeds of today's idiots and there were no children stood in the road on the side of the former mill. EVERYONE was safe on the bridge/path
And that is why the police are now monitoring the area... Unfortunately they have to Police expecting the lowest common denominator.....
That Subaru driver needs to have his driving licence taken away!
He should be given a free pass considering how fast he reacts without rammimg it into the side
He only regains directional control as his tyres hit the concrete on the other side. He reacts to the oncoming car just as he hits the water but the car stays on a set course because itâs travelling at excess speed and aquaplaning. Itâs completely out of control
Subarus are for thick chavs, bumpkins and angry divorcee fathers. You should get points added to your licence just for buying one in the first place. Cars to compensate for a lack of recognition in any other aspect of your life.
And someone needs their child taken away for their safety. who the f*** would let them stand in the middle of the ford knowing how cluelessly stupid people drive through it.
How long is it going to be before someone gets injured or worse with all the people stood on the end of the driveway....
The driver of the Subaru is the reason why they have the police visit on occasions.
Shame they wasn't there today
The pinhead in the Subaru swerved to the right in an attempt to splash the kid standing in the stream. He had no idea that there was a car coming his way. What a wâ
and you think that any of the other drivers that drove through there with high speeds are any better? Lol
all are pinheads.. tiny c's@@jennyhoffmann3054
The subaru is why our insurances are so high
âŠand road fatalities.
Why he didn't crash?
And people were bing critical of the police traffic units being there...
More critical of them pulling over for the slightest infraction. Some of these were reckless and deserve to be pulled over.
That was me at first!!! This place is now a ticking timebomb before someone gets seriously injured
Yes the blue Subaru was close but the blue Astra VXR was a close one too. Love these videos just a shame thereâs people that ruin it
Ruin it? These videos make me appreciate the terrible American drivers I get to deal with. They really make me feel all warm and fuzzy when they water log thier engines.
@@SMILEYRLR you wonât be saying that if they killed one of your family or friends would you? Have a think before you come out with such bullsht
Plus all of the ones with the kids in the waterđź
Exactly.
The blue subaru couldve ended badly
I can't help thinking it was a resident who drained the lake last week. They must have had the first peaceful weekend in a long time! I'm no snowflake but some driver's behaviour is just dangerous, slight gradient, slight bend, wet roads, excess speed and kids within feet of them, it will happen one day and people will be surprised. Anyway, rant over. I hope it rains soon and we can get back to deep water and a different type of idiot.
I agree, 2 theories, 1 more likely than the other.
With you on the schadenfreude videos. Thatâs my introduction to Rufford Ford , morons driving into deep water. Tearing through shallow water at forty should be a six month ban. Theyâre blinded by spray, losing control and unable to stop. Like you say, a different, much more dangerous, type of moron.
Normally if you want to be safe, 4 way flashers and less than 5mph through the water....buuuuuuuuuut no one is going to do that.
I fully agree this is just madness
Lee ya snowflake ha ha
And people wonder why the police have taken an interest... Because of absolute bell ends like these. Always got to be the few knobs who ruin things for others.
The ford needs a couple of simple, cheap and maintenance-free speed bumps, one on each side, so that we can keep enjoying the deep water idiots, but get rid of the speeding idiots.
Theyâre actually just loud⊠not fastâŠ
I wouldnÂŽt be suprised if they soon or later close this ford for safety. Stupid people are getting closer and closer to stupid drivers who are getting faster and faster. There is a disaster wating to happen.
Pus a speed camera on either side set at 20mph. All proceeds go to the local economy
Right, NOW do you see why the old bill are showing up? Imagine if that was one of your family members at the start of the video.
That Mini Moke made my day there!
'Listen. That sound is the throb of a turbocharged, flat four engine. A sound, which all over the world, signifies the imminent arrival of a moron.'
I have a flat 6 non turbo. Am I a moron?
It's a glorious engine and an amazing car. Your are either jealous or don't understand..
@@kingofthewestmidlands4049 same... :-)
This is why the police show up, and itâs a good job they do too.
Insane to let your kids play in the ford, you d be as responsible for their deaths as the prick who hits them.
And this ladies and gentlemen, is why the police have started to take an interest
Good!
I love these videos but not long before there is a bit of collision or a kid stood in the ford that gets taken out.
A speed bump at either end could save lives.
Few concrete blocks in the middle would do.
Wonât be long until someoneâs seriously injured đ
Or worse them young girls shouldn't be where they are
Oh my gosh that Subaru driver should have their license taken away for real.
clear case of dangerous driving imo. Or at least "due care".
How do you know it wasn't set up for the camera??
@@tonygarlingewarren7456 even if it was itâs still dangerous. And if the police were there Iâm guessing theyâd pull them over to have a chat about there driving.
@@tonygarlingewarren7456 that would make it even worse
Looks like matey in the DS3 can't handle the extreme torque steer his beast makes đ
This is a very special kind of stupidity, drivers and spectators alike.
With drivers like the first one it won't be long before 'Old Bill' are there again.
Or some kid gets killed. This is a shocking video. I wonder has the police traced that nutter down and knocked on his door?
20 years ago (when I was a young lad) 'Watch out for cars! Never play in the road!'
Today, this. The standard of parenting and common sense is non-existent, never mind just crap.
The highway code now encourages you to walk or play in the road.. the world has gone mad
@@tonygarlingewarren7456 The recent guideline instructing drivers to give way for pedestrians at all junctions is what I call the 'Smartphone rule'. It's why they can't be arsed to look anymore.
Scooby driver is your typical scooby driver lol
That Subaru nearly caused a fatal collision with the black car. Thank god the other car was driving carefully. Where are the parents of those kids who are supposed to be looking after them?
Kids shook up but ok
@@Bond2025 Defending the actions of a dangerous driver is not what I would call sensible. Let me guess, was that you behaving like a prick in the Subaru? It has to be you, because nobody else would consider that as good driving. Also, I don't need polarizing glasses or any other glasses to see that you are indeed a đend.
@@Bond2025 Take another look at the oncoming vehicle and you will clearly see that it is not stationary, but actually in motion. You are of below average intelligence.
@@Bond2025 Sorry to be so dramatic đ but you made me laugh when you said wait until you are old enough to get a licence. Well I can tell you I have been driving for 50 years!!! I suppose you will say time you gave up then so I thought I would cover that đ If you read most the comments then you will see they are not impressed with the driving skills of the Subaru so we cant all be wrong. Even the title says Near Crash! Anyway I must be off now to book a driving test.......
@@Richytbiscuit Were you in the black ford on the 1st clip mate that Scobie overtook me in my land rover about 40 seconds before thank God, he never hit you
I can't stop seeing the Impreza!
Moke and TR3 real class. Scooby doo absolute prit stick. Just an opinion.
Actually a TR3a, (wide grille) I sold mine 20 years ago, but would never got the thing that wet!
Classic cars are like horses, it's much better to admire other peoples!
Iâm alarmingly addicted to this channel.
I think we can all agree that at some point this is going to end in tragedy.
Today at Rufford Ford...The locals were doing time trials and trying to kill each other đ±
You took a few good drenching's...Yet not a single bad word! What a Pro! đ
Never a dull moment a Rufford Ford! Great Video...Thanks Tom! đ
richman north of richmond 2words sounds the same
Iâm sure the police will be dishing out a few warnings after watching that. Sheer lunacy.
Sorry to be a spoil sport but the prat in the subaru & others if that had gone wrong with the kids standing in the water ,that could have been a mess and fancy letting your kids be that close I thought that's what the viewing platform was for đ
@Lancashirelad if you go there you would find a viewing area & a foot bridge
@Lancashirelad where is an intentional viewing platform on the Rufford Park Estate itself.
I can only imagine how much oil is in that water from all the free undercarriage washes
This should be called "how many arseholes can you fit into a four minute video "
Shall we start the count down for someone getting hurt đ
Wheeeeeeee
Such fun!
It's surprising how much water splash spray is created at 30 mph.đ
That old geeza pulled a bird...brightened up her day!
Well thatâs the closest almost accident Iâve seen to date ! Iâm sure the police will get his registration number from this video .
No wonder theyâve shut it, thatâs crazy at that speed
Place is getting crazier and crazier everyday haha
Very nice
Ticket in the post for Mr sooobaru and as for Mr astra what a plumb.
And people wonder why the police turn up
How long until traffic calming measures are put in place there.
Not long.
@@zigzagtoes good oneđ
And quite right too. It needs some ridiculously tall speed bumps at either end (and I hate them) and a speed camera.
I hope the guy in the Subaru has watched this and realises how close he came to ending that child's life and quite possibly the people in the Ford. I hope he can imagine the police turning up to arrest him for death by due care and the enormity of what he's done hitting him. I hope he can imagine what a prison sentence is like for a normal member of the public and having to live the rest of his life with the guilt of what he's done. I hope most of all that he has sold that car and now drives within his limits.
Local residents must LOVE this unofficial tourist attraction.
nice video
Just thino if the Ford driver was on the phone or distracted. It would of been a head on. Good reactions with the braking. God video as always
Or worst still if the Ford driver was showing off like the Subaru driver was... Doesn't bear thinking about.
Prob just had trouble seeing through the cloud of vape smoke
Like that wonderful quote from the funeral of Reynholm in The IT Crowd
Death is coming
Iâm sure the police will be paying most of these drivers a visit shortly.
No doubt the parents will all start whining about dangerous drivers once their precious offspring gets hit by a car after playing in the road, some of those not so little lads are never going to be able to run out of the way⊠đ
This Rufford lot are madder than the Dukes of Hazard!
Needs reporting both of them at the start, there's kids about no one minds a bit of splash but speed dosn't do it mass does :P
lol what was wrong with the second one? that never nearly crashed
@@Bond2025 offence reported :)
Itâs only a matter of timeâŠ
Dangerous driving right there on camera . Pc plod ?
What do they say, every passing day is closer to that first fatal driver or pedestrian accident.
Crikey!
Bloody hell, that looked like over 100km/h going through there! That's dangerous, you can easily lose control of your vehicle!
That Astra is up for sale on Autotrader!!! Description reads: One careful granny owner. Only taken to the shops for milk on Sundays.
âWashed oftenâ
Abs and engine management light bulb removed to save weight
I wondered why you know thatthis exact Astra is (or was) for sale.
Then I remembered that you could look up the license plate at DVLA đ
They should have that system here in Germany, too
2:16 the men recording the two ladies hahaha
Why am I watching this to the end đ
The subaru driver definitely has some experience at rallying
I always thought it was a 30mph limit there but some muppets have to demonstrate their testosterone.
Theyâre all brave when itâs shallow
đź looney some of them, itâs a 30 limit for good reason, going through at speed apart from being very dangerous, the dim wits donât seem to realise theyâre more likely to destroy their cars đ€Šââïž
Makes me laugh these walleys that go through it at speed thinking it wont damage their car just because the water isnt high enough to reach the air intake. Water at that speed and depth is like hitting a brick wall for components under the car including wiring, hoses, undersheilds, mudflaps ect. Bet lots of them end up with ABS faults down the road.
Yep.
How to Ronnie a car page 1
-Drive it through deep water đ
Idiots all.
Not to mention hitting hot manifolds, exhaust pipes and cat converters with cold water.
Lo salvĂł la tracciĂłn integral del Subaru !
Given how the distributor, or some part of the electrics anyway, on the classic Mini are right behind the grille, and famously can be shorted out even by rainwater coming through the grille, I'm not sure I'd attempt it in a Mini Moke even at a very cautious speed
On the plus side the air intake is at the back of the engine so less chance of it sucking in a load of water and seizing.
thst what the plastic spash sheild is for that most take off or never replace when they break
I wonder if they realise those who splash them with water n the cars it's plenty of points on there license and even lose there license đ
Ive said it before and I will say it again, its only a matter of time before there is a serious incident.
Yaaaay new video đđ
Old bill be in touch with some of these
That Subaru thought the road went straight until he saw the oncoming car
Highway code: Test brakes after driving through deep water.
Audi: I'ma test my accelerator.
đ€Š
When you play the video at slow speed you can see how close the two cars were.
When I was the driver of the other car you see the whites of our eyes đ
@@Richytbiscuit why did you turn round to just come plodding back again?
@@craigcooper75 went and had a few choice words as I caught up with him
@@Richytbiscuit well he must of pooped alittle lol
Iam pretty amazed that, the subaru still managed to avoid the crash on a wet surface and with that speed and it didnt spin or drift the slightest.. those cars are just handling beasts, very safe cars ! ( except for those foolish drivers ofcourse )
That was a close one; then again what do expect from a Subaru driver đđ đ
Also how many people now stand and record there I'm sure people saw the high views and tried to get in on it
Finally a Subaru đ
Nothing like a location where disaster is inevitable should things go south, to create a sense of community in the East Midlands. đ
Lovely water to get covered in, run off from the road and whatever stuff is on the underside and wheel arches of cars, brake dust, exhaust particulate. Good idea letting your kids play in that! Wouldnât want that shite anywhere near me.
instead of closing the place they could have just installed speed cameras with license plate readers and face cameras. cant fight a ticket, generates cash for the cities, keeps people sensible, allows fun to continue.
Some of these people should be done for dangerous driving.
Absolute arse@#$@#
Hope the police catch up with him or her wow this is why it's a danger when full or high waters
I can remember that ford as a child some 60 years ago so nothing new. Only CZcams could turn it into a dangerous circus!
The police are going to be back!
Or the council with a couple of speed bumps.
1:33 pimpin aint easy - bernie sanders
is he left-handed country license?
The Moke was really taking a chance. The Triumph not so sure.
1:04 MK4 R32 đ
Those kids standing in the water concern me... seen a couple of cars aquaplane off that side
3:57 when you drive a piece of crap and the girls laugh at you
Is there a sign either side of the ford that says 'Drive like a Bellend now'??
Nice distinctive tat on the Scooby driver ;)
I predict there will be a big accident in the future! I hope that no bystander gets harmed!
Roll on a proper winter
