1956 Buick Century 2dr Rivera with factory power windows and three tone paint, red roof, yellow body and pink below the side trim with black and white interior. My Grandmother received it brand-new June 15th 1956 but my mother is who paid for it. I have owned it for forty years now, time sure does fly.

When I was 9yo I'd ride my bike one mile to "Barnes Grocery Store", corner of Apple Ave. and Maple Island Rd. NE just to look at Mr Barne's brand new 57' Black with Red Leather 4 Door Hardtop. Buicks were amazing and BEAUTIFUL in the 50's! Thanks.for your vid

Well, I am an original-or-nothing guy, but I really liked this one. Buick is American car brand closest to my heart (my dad had a Buick when I was a little , little kid). What I liked the most in your video is that this car just says, USA Car, Detroit Baby. That certainly is a thing no auto says today. Those were the days...

I am in on this one as well. My grandfather took me for a 85 MPH ride in a mid 50's Buick Special and it was faster than this 5 year old had ever gone! My Grandpa Hartman was the one who got me to love motorsports from that ride forward so yes I have a Buick soft spot.

In the 50's, Olds and Buick both used those three piece rear windows. Very cool. You said it, "10 years from now, or 20 years ago" way cool.

Why are you apologizing so much about liking this car? Variety is the spice of life! I think we’ve all seen more than enough ‘57 Chevys and ‘69 Camaros. This ‘57 Buick Special is a really well done custom without the usual clichés.

The LS took the classiness away, in my opinion.
I wouldn't have it towed out of my driveway....Something old school would have been cool for sure...But I wouldn't care it had a LS when I hit the go pedal..or when I stopped at the gas station....
