It all started with Genghis Khan ok. This guy founded the Mongol empire, and around 1200AD, he went galloping all over the vast continent of Asia conquering everything in sight, across the Great Steppe from Spain, Persia, Turkey all the way to China. Every corner of the Steppe came under his dominance. His grandson Kublai Khan set up his “Yuan” empire in China and the Mongolians ruled China for 200 years. When the Yuan Dynasty fell, all the Mongolian territories became parts of China . Places like Tibet, Mongolia , Xinjiang that were once under the rule of the Mongolians are now rightfully China’s territories. The lucky fella that got away is Manchuria. The Manchurians ruled China for 300 years under the Qing dynasty and the last emperor of China was a Manchu. By right, China should annex Manchuria too....

Thank you for this video on Tibet. One important fact is missing in this very informative video is that before China showed her true face, she built roads of friendship, gave expensive gifts( silver coins, silks etc..) to the average population and the behaviors of the solders were gentlemanly. After finishing the infrastructures than tanks, trucks full of solders changed the landscape and the attitude of the solders towards Tibetans: now they were the absolute rulers over Tibetans and Tibet with all the rich natural resources to exploit from the golden statues of the gods to the rich natural minerals that the locals only extracted what they needed but never on factory scale…

In the early 8th century, the Tang Dynasty married Princess Jincheng to Tubo. The Tufan and Tang dynasties became "one family".
In 1271, the Mongolian Khan Kublai named the country Yuan, and Ushizang (modern central and western Tibet and its western regions) and Dogan became part of the unified multi-ethnic Yuan Empire, bringing Tibet under the direct jurisdiction of the Chinese central government.
In 1368, the Ming dynasty replaced the Yuan dynasty and inherited state sovereignty over the Tibetan region by a peaceful transition in which the old imperial seal of the Yuan dynasty was collected and replaced by a new imperial seal of the Ming dynasty.
In the first year of the Qing dynasty's reign of Shunzhi (1644), the Qing dynasty made Beijing its capital and thus unified China. The Qing dynasty exercised its sovereignty in Tibet in accordance with historical precedent, and whenever an official appointed by the previous dynasty submitted the seal of the old dynasty, he was given the seal of the new dynasty instead, and his original status remained unchanged. In 1652, the Fifth Dalai Lama of the Gelugpa school of Tibetan Buddhism was summoned to Beijing to see the Emperor Shunzhi of the Qing Dynasty, and was formally enthroned by the Qing Dynasty the following year; later, the Fifth Panchen was also enthroned by the Kangxi Emperor. The Dalai Lama and Panchen Erdeni's title and their political and religious status in Tibet were thus formally established, and since then, the Dalai Lama and Panchen have become customary to be enthroned by the central government. In the fifth year of the Yongzheng era (1727), the Yongzheng Emperor formally established the Minister in Tibet to deal with Tibetan affairs.
In 1911, the Xinhai Revolution overthrew the feudal imperial system and established the Republic of China the following year. The Provisional Treaty of the Republic of China expressly states that Tibet is one of the 22 provinces of the Republic of China. The Constitution and other laws and regulations that have been officially promulgated since then have also explicitly stated that Tibet is part of the Republic of China.
In October 1950, the 18th Army of the Chinese People's Liberation Army liberated Chamdo. [41] On 23 May 1951, the Central People's Government and the local government of Tibet signed the Agreement between the Central People's Government and the local government of Tibet on Measures for the Peaceful Liberation of Tibet (commonly known as the "Seventeen Articles Agreement"). Tibet was peacefully liberated. [4]
On 9 February 1955, the Seventh Plenary Session of the State Council adopted the Decision of the State Council on the Establishment of the Preparatory Committee for the Tibet Autonomous Region.
On 22 April 1956, the Preparatory Committee for the Tibet Autonomous Region was formally established at an inaugural meeting in Lhasa. Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso was appointed as the Chairman, Banchen Erdeni-Chogyi Gyantsan as the First Vice-Chairman and Zhang Guohua as the Second Vice-Chairman. Ngapo-Ngawang Jigme served as the Secretary-General.
On March 10, 1959, the local Tibetan government and the reactionary group from above openly tore up the Seventeen Agreements on the peaceful liberation of Tibet and staged an armed rebellion in Lhasa; on March 17, the Dalai fled Lhasa; on March 22, the battle of Lhasa ended victoriously and the rebellion in Lhasa city was completely crushed; on March 28, Premier Zhou Enlai issued an order dissolving the local Tibetan government and leaving the On 28 March, Premier Zhou Enlai issued a decree dissolving the local Tibetan government and appointing the Preparatory Committee for the Tibet Autonomous Region to exercise the powers of the local Tibetan authorities. Since the Dalai Lama, the head of the Preparatory Committee for the Tibet Autonomous Region, had still been abducted, Banchen Erdeni-Chogyi Gyantsan, the deputy head of the committee, was appointed as the acting head of the committee, and Pabala Gelelanger and Ngapo-Ngawang Jigme, the standing members of the committee, were appointed as deputy heads of the committee. On July 17 of the same year, the second plenary session of the Preparatory Committee for the Tibet Autonomous Region was concluded. The meeting adopted the Resolution on Democratic Reforms in the Whole Tibetan Region. The Central People's Government and the Preparatory Committee for the Tibet Autonomous Region decided to comply with the wishes of the Tibetan people and carry out democratic reforms in Tibet ahead of schedule.
After the People's Liberation Army won a victory in the pacification of Tibet in 1959, the Indian government openly proposed to China that 90,000 square kilometres of the eastern sector and 32,000 square kilometres of the western sector of Chinese territory be transferred to India, and after its unreasonable request was rejected by the Chinese government, it pursued its "forward policy" and continued to encroach on Chinese territory. In August and October 1959, Indian troops killed and wounded many Chinese border guards in the Langjiu and Khongkhar Pass incidents on the eastern and western sections of the border between India and China.
After the failure of the Tibetan serf rebellion instigated and supported by the Indian government and the collapse of the dream of expansionism against Tibet, Nehru openly abandoned the banner of Sino-Indian friendship and regarded the Chinese government's efforts to seek a peaceful settlement of the border issue and its restraint and forbearance as weakness and deceitfulness, and then pushed China further and further. Since 1961, especially from April 1962, the Indian army has set up 43 military positions in China along the western section of the Sino-Indian border. The scale and extent of the Indian government's encroachment on our territory and deployment of war against China surpassed that of the British imperialists in the past. At the time, India proclaimed that it had "driven the Chinese army back two miles" in the eastern sector and advanced on all fronts in the western sector, hailing and congratulating Nehru on a "unique victory achieved by Napoleonic daring planning." In this context, Nehru became complacent and repeatedly and brazenly rejected the Chinese Government's repeated proposals for a peaceful negotiated settlement of the border issue, determined to take the risk of resorting to force.
On October 2, 1962, Nehru declared in New Delhi that the Indian government would "use military force against China", and on the 12th, he publicly ordered that the Chinese army would be "wiped out" from the Chinese territories occupied by the Indian army. on the 14th, the Indian Defence Minister declared that he would fight China to the last man and the last gun. He then flew to the Indian border town of Tisepur, close to the eastern sector of the border, for military deployment. This was followed by a massive increase in Indian troops in the eastern sector, and on the 17th and 18th, the invading Indian troops provoked a large-scale armed border clash by firing heavy artillery shells at Chinese border troops in both the eastern and western sectors of the border.
The Chinese government and border troops, in line with their consistent position of resolving the Sino-Indian border issue through peaceful negotiation, have always exercised the utmost restraint and patience in response to the continuous incursions and provocations by the Indian troops and their encroachment on the territory of the motherland, and have taken a series of measures to avoid armed conflict.

@@justice24456 You must have a reading disorder. When did I say that Tibet was under the jurisdiction of the Tang Dynasty? I'm talking about marriage. Established relations with Tibet during the Tang Dynasty, rather than direct rule.
      During the Yuan Dynasty
Main term: Bureau of Buddhist and Tibetan Affairs
In the eighth year of the Yuan to the Yuan Dynasty (1271), Kublai Khan Khan of Mongolia named the country Yuan. Wusi Zang (today's central and western Tibet and its western regions), Duogan and other places became part of the unified multi-ethnic Dayuan Empire. Since then, Tibet has officially been under the direct jurisdiction of the Chinese central government.
After the unification of China by the Yuan Dynasty, a series of far-reaching governance measures were taken based on the actual situation in Tibetan areas:
It was the first time to set up the General System Institute of the Central Organization (in 1288, the 25th year of the Yuan to the Yuan Dynasty, renamed the Bureau of Buddhist and Tibetan Affairs), which was in charge of Buddhist affairs nationwide and military and political affairs in Tibet and other places. The prime minister is usually the envoy (officer in charge) of the Bureau of Buddhist and Tibetan Affairs, and the deputy envoy is a monk recommended by the emperor.
Conduct household inspections, set up post stations, collect taxes, stationed troops, appoint officials in Tibet, and promulgate the Criminal Law and Calendar of the Yuan Dynasty in Tibet.
Appoint Tibetan monks and laymen to serve as senior officials from the central to local levels. The establishment and dismissal of administrative agencies, as well as the appointment, demotion, rewards and punishments of officials in Wusizang, Duogan and other places, are all under the command of the central government.
Divide local administrative regions in Tibet. The central government of the Yuan Dynasty set up three non subordinate propaganda and consolation departments in Tibetan areas, which were directly under the management of the Bureau of Buddhist and Tibetan Affairs. This is what the Tibetan history books call "three districts". As far as the region of today's Tibet Autonomous Region is concerned, at that time, it was under the jurisdiction of two of them - today's Lhasa, Shannan, Shigatse, Ali and other places are under the jurisdiction of the Uszang Xuanwei Division; Today, the Changdu area and the east of Nagqu City are under the jurisdiction of Duogan Xuanweisi. The Yuan Dynasty conducted household registration checks, established errands, collected taxes, established post stations, stationed troops, and guarded the border areas in areas such as Wusizang. The Wusizang Propaganda and Comfort Department is located in Sajia (now Sajia, Tibet), with 13 ten thousand households and several thousand households, and collects taxes.
Among them, the division of administrative regions in the Yuan Dynasty became the basis for the evolution of Administrative division in Tibet.
Also, what you said was' the Tang Dynasty is true China '. The rulers of the Tang Dynasty were the Xianbei ethnic group, not the Han ethnic group. According to your logic, the Tang Dynasty cannot be called "true China". The dynasties of China have clear inheritance relationships. That's why the Yuan Dynasty established by the Mongols was also considered China. Because they admit to inheriting from the Song Dynasty. This is also the source of legitimacy for their governance.
Finally, you cannot deny that Tibet's sovereignty has been under Chinese rule for the past few hundred years.

Hawaii was brutally invaded by USA. The Kingdom of Hawaii was a prosperous, self governing Country, but then USA invaded them and throw out their Queen Liliʻuokalani. The fertile island had much of its vegetation (herbs, fruits, vegetables) removed and replaced with USA vegetation. Over the years, Hawaii had become an International Holiday Resort Island owned by Elite USA citizens, forcing the cost of land and payments for basic service too expensive for Native Hawaiians. They are now forced to move to cheaper Mainland USA States to live, but ... they're a sea-bearing culture. Native Hawaiians want their island back.

I visited Tibet via a train from Chengdu in 2017. I could feel the silent, suppressed anger of the locals against Chinese military present. My Tibetan guide wouldn't lead my group into any Chinese-own properties even just to use the restroom. It was also depressing not to be able to discuss about their current situation although he seemed to have a lot to say if it wasn't for fear of being overheard by someone who could report him to the Chinese officials.

Cheap propaganda. The truth is that Tibetans never had it so good. Their expected lifespan almost doubled since 70 years ago, literacy increased from below 5% to over 90%. There are new schools, hospitals, highways, airports, a high speed rail from Lhasa to Beijing. Tourism is booming, Tibetans live in peace and very rapidly increasing prosperity.
