  • CASE SOLVED!! I've been losing sleep over this housing that came on my CNC Q2, I'm calling this good.
    If you have a Q2 w/ motor housing then you have what's advertised as the "New Program Q2". I didn't order my Q2 directly from CNC this time so that's why everything just seemed so fishy to me.
    probly just me tho,🤏🤦🏻

    Awsome si the inside plastic housing and new cam is good idk?

      The Q2 is essentially worthless, mine lost significant power after about 2 tattoos. The used to just hot glue the motor in the machine....but it kept falling out so they "upgraded" the machine with the.housing that fastens the motor to the machine. People were using injeckta cams on the Q2 but the housing gets in the way of the Inkjecta cam too

      @@cappn_ronaldo thanks for the info yes I’m not to stocked on the cnc q2 it’s weak but I’m wondering if my
      Cheap battery is effectively powering it so I got a power supply comming in the mail to test that

    Which one recommended new cnc Q2 or the cnc Q6 ?

    • @cappn_ronaldo
      @cappn_ronaldo  Před měsícem +1

      Q6, but theres alot of better machine companies. I'd check out Discover Device, Ava or WOS before I bought anything from CNC. czcams.com/video/_fKO_JrrYxg/video.htmlsi=Aj-9k_eNw-AnUK12

      @@cappn_ronaldo AVA tattoo machine which one is the beast in terms of lining color packing and shading?

      I have an AVA Ep7+ and it's definitely a beast....the battery display/buttons are the only downside. Good liner and great packer. Ive seen people shade with it but it isn't something I'd shade with. I have a video on it

    I actually took the bracket off and the motor dose say faulhaber on it to so they do still have the 2607 faulhaber motors in them there just the crappy "pancake 2607t07.5sr"

    • @cappn_ronaldo
      @cappn_ronaldo  Před rokem

      Yeah I seen the Faulhaber on mine, in order to make mine work with the inkjeckta cam I have I’d have to take the housing off and put half a stick of hot glue underneath the motor so it can clear the threads. Or get some long long screws and a spacer of some sort to get it past the threads.

      @@cappn_ronaldo you can get bishop fantom 4.2 cam & it will fit. (the fantom is just a wand liner repackaged with a 4.2 & the q2 is same motor as bishot wand shader, therefore the fantom cams fit wirhout needing to do all of that. just pop off the original plunger and pip it into the fantom and you're good to go with a $200 bishop liner.

      So just to be sure....your trying to put a bishop cam on your Q2 that has the housing around it, right??

    Im not a CNC fan at all graffics will tell ya that lol but if u wanna make that faulhaber run great and be a nice liner.u can buy the inkjecta 4mm stroke cam and use a bench grinder or a handheld grinder and bring the little tit off the back and it will then fit..and the good thing is it'll now have a 4mm stroke and the best part the cam actually has a brass counter weight on it.trust me you'll love how much better the performance is.its an absolute blessing.coukd probably use a 4mm xnet cam as well just might have to bend you a new plunger bar which u can get a pack of 3 for like 4 or 5 bucks

    • @cappn_ronaldo
      @cappn_ronaldo  Před 2 lety +1

      I've actually tried that, and because of the housing the motor is tucked so far back that the cam doesn't fit. I was pretty bummed. It lines decently with the shitty cam from CNC. One of the lead wires broke of cuz I was trying to back it out to fit the cam, and I had to wire glue it back on...and that's when I just faid f*** these Chinese machines and bought my FK Irons machine

      @@cappn_ronaldo I just used the bishope fantom 4.2 it's a smaller cam.its a smidge bigger then an xnet cam but not by much it fit with the original plunger.the inkjecta cam I haven't tried on the newer models I just know CNC sells and advertised there cams as 3,3.5,n 4mm stroke when there not...they just have longer plungers there for it's needle protrusion not stroke lol
