Dovahhatty, you are the first youtube historian who portrayed Samnites as they looked in reality. Both Samnites and Romans had the same armor, weapons, shields, and helmets. The iconic Roman shield was actually adopted from the Samnites as well as their manipular tactics. So Rome owes much to the Samnites. Without Samnites there would be no Rome.

Hmmm, the video is funny and informative but some Italian civilisations were left out, for example: the north of Italy wasn't entirely populated by Gauls, they had hostile neighbors like the Retii and Veneti.
