I miss Italy my dad was Italian we went every year when we were kids ☺️
I love it when someone talks about Italy without mandolino, pulcinella, fake gestures used in the wrong way, weird accent and every stereotyped way! Very nice!
In Friuli nobody has ever seen a mandolino, pizza was exported from the south after the 2ww,
My family is from Verona, my Grandmother was an Opera singer 😊 I miss Italy so much!!!
When I was a child, we had a macadamia nut tree in our back garden. There is nothing like eating a fresh nut from the tree. Thanks for taking us around Alessio's home village.
👏 they just taste better that way!
I saw the 11:11 😇 it's 11:11
@@ThePasinis definitely. If you ever come to Australia, head up to the Daintree, that area grows macadamia trees, and they have the best macadamia ice cream you'll ever try. Sadly, I live too far away, in the Blue Mountains outside of Sydney. But here, we have the best chocolate shop in the world called Josophans.
I remember when i visited grandparents and I just went straight to eat berries from shrubs. Missing it a lot.
Beautiful ! ❤️ Thank You for Sharing ! All the Food looks delicious. I even enjoyed the ☔ Rainy day 😊 Makes me want to renew my passport.
I love the Italian way of life. So much slower than the US. When I was in Italy I soaked every bit of peacefulness in.
Yes, i could definitely live there. Love the quiet night, beautiful little shops.
It makes me miss my hometown venezia...I served in the army in friuli
Me too... I didn't know but my time in high school in Venice was the best I had for a long time 🥲.
Cuanto che me manca ndar par i canali coi fioi in barchin
We are visiting Italy for the 1st time in May! We are so excited. Your videos have been so helpful 😊
have a wonderful time :) un abbraccio
Greetings from Houston TX! Viva l'Italia! ❤🎉
I am 100% Italian, and my personal rule for cappuccino is: never after a meal and never too close to a meal. Time of day doesn't matter. 😊

I was married to an Italian, all I ever heard was, but that's not Italian... I told her, neither are you, you were born in New York.and so we're your parents, and your grandparents. Who decides when you can drink this or that? The secret Italian food police? I worked in an Italian restaurant when I was a teenager, I was taught to make the sauce by the chef, I stirred the 15 gallon pot on a gas floor burner with a small wooden boat paddle, all day, twice a week. Cover the pot with a wet towel and we would carry it into the walk in cooler and let it sit overnight. I made the sauce for her and her mom and grandma. They all cried because it was better than theirs. We all used to go to a restaurant in town called Dorias and they all loved the food and the sauce. Turns out, the chef I learned from, worked there for 20 years and he had invented the sauce they made. It was funny. They thought I had bought 5 gallons of sauce from Dorias. I gave them the recipe, they were mortified I had outdid them. Mama's sauce. It can cause arguments, fights, doana talka abouta mia mamasa sauca Ora Ia smacka ua! Wussamattafoua? They made the sauce for all their Italian friends and they all loved it. The friends could not believe the recipe was from an American of English ancestry. All of a sudden they accepted me as an honorary Italian. She was nuts, and I am so glad I divorced her, and she did not get my house, and I was lucky I never had a kid with her, otherwise I would forever be connected to her. Never talked to her again, never will. Arivaderci beecha!
@ThePasinis My colleague and friend is Scillian and I am buying a House close to his Families village and we will work together in Scilly
Questo é cosi vero! 😮
I adore you two!! Keep showing the world what a loving couple looks like!! 🤩🩵☮️⭐️🕉️👏🏻🤌🏼
As someone who grew up in a small farm town in a twin river valley in Minnesota, so much of this video reminded me of my childhood. Life's just different out in the country. You have room to breathe, you can hear yourself think, and people treat you like people rather than like chores or obstacles.
We have hazelnuts in Latvia too,I remember picking them in August I think, then opening with garlic squasher tool.I moved to Ireland many years ago and have 3 kids now.....we have hazelnut trees here too but nobody is bothered to pick them .....I showed my kids where is hazelnut actually coming from.....I want to teach them all what I know about the nature and where's food comes from
Greetings from Ireland ❤
Everything is so beautiful and serene! It looks like an amazing place to raise, children.
What a wonderful place to enjoy life. I especially like that stopping to speak with people you know is more important than rushing to a planned destination. Bravo!
I had never heard of Mutti before you did your tomato sauce blind test. Now it's all over Toronto. Thanks, you guys!!
Tks for bringing back memories..... I spent almost a year there in the Army, some - ahem - decades ago. Alas, Alessio wouldn't have been born yet!
Love this one guys it’s so interesting to see the way of life. I’m always at peace when I’m Italy . Thank you 🤗❤️🇮🇹
Grazie mille! 🙏
This makes me want to go to Italy even more! My family is from the Endine Gaiano area, I still have many relatives there I’ve not met.
I loved every second of this video. I could watch videos about Italy and small town living in Italy all day. Thank you for bringing us along!
I have a pic of my kids in that same exact piazza. So beautiful there! Thank you for sharing your hometown, Italy has definitely left a stamp in my heart!
breathtaking beautiful❤
What a surprise! I didn’t know Alessio is from Maniago. Cheers from Trieste 😊 same region totally different dialects as well as scenery, you have the mountains we have the sea.
bellissima Trieste ho portato Jessi due volte castello di mira mare una perla del Friuli
9:25...that's how I find it to be in Hawaii as well...there's no rush because it's always a beautiful reason to stop and talk
Living amongst all that history is so heart warming 💓 & taking the time to casually explore the area is wonderful.
One of my favorites spending a day in Alessios hometown. It is so beautiful there with the mountains. I love the shop with the name Mississippi..I have moved back to Mississippi. Much love to you both 🤗🤗
Beautiful video and so peaceful too. I love how you capture 'real life' and nature. Sending hugs from Belgium :)
Thank you very much!
Beautiful! I don't know why you would ever leave and choose to live in the US! Thank you!!
Great video, thanks for taking us with you to visit Alessio's home town. I found this very educational as well as entertaining.
Currently visiting Florence and the surrounding cities. It's stunning that's for sure.
Wife and I live in Nashville and hope to visit Italy in the next couple years. Beautiful country.
Found this right now by youtubes algorithm. Only ten minutes in. Thank you youtube. So absolutely wholesome and instantly put me in a better mood. Subscribed and will be catching up on what I have missed out on; The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Sorry for the Italian Sergio Leone reference.
Seeing some video titles though, i suspect it will be an up and down roller coaster of emotions. Im strapping in now though, and will likely binge watch as much as I can.
❤️🙏🏻 From Akron, Ohio, United States.
Once again, you guys show a fantastic glimpse into everyday life in Maniago. This is my dream, to live like a local while visiting a smaller town. My husband and I have never been to Italy but definitely on the bucket list. We’d only want to visit small towns! Cheers from northern AZ 😊
I loved this video, the music with the scenery was beautiful! 😍
I also enjoyed seeing Alessio's town he grew up in!
Beautiful place! Beautiful food! Beautiful people! 😊
So quiet and peaceful there
Love visiting Maniago! My family is in San Daniele! Mandi Mandi 😍
even each country has its own beauty, but your country is so beauty with its long long history
Ohhh God that video made me relax. Simple things, simple life...love it ❤❤
Thank you for the beautiful video as seen through your eyes. I love how you meet up with friends and enjoy your conversations with them. Having a apertivo was delightful! Your home village is charming with the new surrounding the antiquity and where centuries of Italians called home.
I was just in the south of Italy & had a wonderful time. Love Italy! ❤
Interesting story about the knives!
I thought the Japanese were the best in the world.
I will be in Venice this summer. I live in Greece( I'm not Greek 😊..) and watch your lovely videos.
For some reason, my mind hasn't yet been convinced that Alessio is not south Italian to the least and French to the best. 😅
I enjoyed it so much! Psyching me up for my trip to Venice in October!
Yay! You’re gonna have the best trip!
It is such a beautiful life. I would love it. Thank you for sharing it with us. ✌️❤️
I appreciate your videos so much! Simple, peaceful, and lovely. You guys sure are special 💗
Absolutely loved going with you in Italy in the town where Alessio is from and seeing all of his friends. I have a father named Pasquale, but he is passed away. Please do more of these. Glad to see that you are feeling better, Jesse. I’ve been on vacation in the British Virgin Islands, so I haven’t kept up with your videos, but I sure enjoyed today’s.
I’ve enjoyed visiting Maniago many times, it’s a beautiful little town.
What if you wake up at 11:30 am or even 12:30 pm? You still have breakfast first, so why not cappuccino ;) I think the only issue is if you actually try to have it while eatening lunch or dinner or something.
I sometimes can’t believe places like this actually exist. So peaceful and simple.
I prefer and love the small towns, thank you!
Gorgeous place! I would love to live there ❤
My family comes from Fanna (next town over). Such a beautiful place. 😀
The video is beautifully edited. Love love love it.🥰
Stunningly beautiful thanks for sharing. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video and I also was praying along with you and hoping God grants your request.😊😊❤❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Nice to see you guys in Maniago. We were stationed at Aviano & lived in nearby San Quirino. Miss our time in N. Italia
I need a trip to Italy.. Definitely on my bucket list... just need some nice friends to go with 😊
Really lovely, guys! Thanks for showing us life in Maniago. I loved the visit to Alessio's childhood church as well. Said a prayer with you for your little lion! Sending love & hugs! ❤🦁❤️

I have always wanted to visit Italy.
When I lived in Germany we never drank soda. Still don't drink it in the states. Mineral water and Sprudel.
Such a lovely video ragazzi! I would happily trade places with you - even for just one day - when you are in beautiful Italy - dreamy 💕💕

So beautiful, friendly and relaxed. This is exactly why my husband is afraid to take me to Italy. I would never want to leave.💚🤍❤️
Having just returned from Urbino the best part of the day was a cappuccino and cornetto. We visited Rimini (my mom’s home town) Bologna, Sorrento and Capri. Bellissimo
Wow, with hazelnut trees just growing, they should make Kinder there instead of Germany!
We have hazelnut trees at every corner in Germany😁
It's so beautiful and peaceful ❤
Why are Alessio’s friends all super good looking 🔥😂 I always enjoy your videos, I always learn something new.
I was thinking the same!
