What a wonderful story! My mother was Italian, my father Irish. They met on a hayride when my mom stood up to move she fell on my dad's lap! When she went home that day (she was only 14) she told my grandma that she had met the man she was going to marry someday. Five years later she did. I love that you shared your story with us and I love watching your videos!

Wow. I stumbled upon your food reviews a month ago, watched a ton of them and now had to watch this one after a bummer of a Friday. You are both so endearing, that really is the best word I can use. Your video put me in a better mood.
Anyway I’ve also done background work (it used to be called “extra work,” haha) here in the NY area for many years but I’ve primarily been a stand-in on film and TV projects. Last week I just finished work on Season 4 of the series Succession as Brian Cox’ stand-in. So of course I loved how you met doing stand-in work on a series!
Your story really is great and SHOULD be adapted into a film, at the very least a Netflix romantic comedy. Keep up the fantastic work, youse two!

What a script this would be! An Italian fireman meets the American actress on a movie set. Months of working together, but never meeting, until that handshake. Moving to another state and starting a florist business with a few pennies, getting married, make your own movies on social media. Now the time to start a family has the struggle of pregnancy with IVF. Go to Italy for help, to make the dream come true. Through it all, there's pain, hardship, failure, success, and LOVE! His mom is American?? I was born and raised in Baton Rouge, attended LSU, graduated, and moved to New Orleans for 12 years. I then moved to Austin, TX, for 15 years and am now in Denver, CO. I would LOVE to visit Italy and Greece. What an amazing story.

I feel you Alessio, it is hard getting to the US not knowing a lot of english and having no idea of what you are going to do, just sitting in your room hopeless, not being able to drive because you need to take the test and then you need a car depending on where you live, in most of the US you need a car...
