  • In this video I add 3 new accessories to my Kubota LX2610 compact tractor. Two of them are quick and easy to install and the other takes a little longer and works best if 2 people do the installation.

    Spending time outdoors doing projects with various machines and tools - anything from cutting trees, firewood, clearing brush, milling wood, plowing snow, reviewing, repairing & fabricating equipment. Doing landscaping and maintenance on my forested property using my Kubota tractor.
    And its not all work!! Gotta take time to play - after turning my pond into a skating rink, and a whole bunch more of outdoor activities.

    The right place for the knob is where it works for you. When I use one I like it about 10 o’clock so I can have my right hand got hydraulic controls. Another good video.

      @Big Bear Hungry That's interesting, mine is returning to the same place so far. I'm going to keep an eye on it. Thanks for watching.

      @Big Bear Hungry Not sure if I interpreted it correctly. When I start driving the tractor the spinner does move around to different positions but when I park the tractor the spinner is always at the same starting point. Does that make sense?

    Those are simple but extremely important upgrades to any open station tractor. Thanks for sharing.

    Sweet canopy! It looks like the Canopy of distinction that Ross has. Hope you had a great Canada 🇨🇦 Day! 🚜🏝

      Thanks Mark, I never really paid that close attention to the one that Ross has but I will on the next video of his that I watch. Hope that you had a great Canada day as well.

    Morning Paul. Some excellent practical mods for the LX. You are going to welcome that shade now that July is upon us. LOL! Happy Canada Day!

    Outstanding additions. I have the same LX2610. Wish I could use the canopy, however much of my tractor use is in areas where tree limbs would destroy it. But, in my experience (now 190+ hours on the clock) working in treed areas provides the desirable shade.

      Thanks Dwayne, just trying to get the tractor to best suit my needs. I hear you with regards to tree limbs. That's why I bought the least expensive canopy since I use my 80 percent of the the in the forest. I have brushed a lot of limbs against it and so far just some scuffs. I was hesitant about having the canopy but I am happy I put it on. Hoping it will keep the coming snow off me as well. Keep on tractoring and have a great day, thanks for watching!

    Hey Paul, re the wheel spinner, it doesn't matter where you mount it, on the BX, because the steering is part of the hydraulic system the wheel never stays aligned like a car so it's going to move around on you.
    I have the deluxe canopy and love it. I added my LED lights onto my Canopy of Distinction! Great job.

    • @JelenOutDoors
      @JelenOutDoors  Před 2 lety +1

      Thanks for the info on the spinner. I have noticed your canopy and LED's on your tractor in your videos and watched a video of yours when you placed a sticker you got out of a mailbox up on the inside of the canopy but I never really paid close attention to make / model of canopy. Excellent that you where able to go with a deluxe one. I actually bought my LED lights at the same time that I bought my tractor last year in October. I did not put the LED lights on when I got my tractor May because I was waiting for the canopy to come. As you have seen the canopy is on and soon you shall see the LED's. Thanks for stopping by Ross!
