I hate to be that guy but, Although he isn’t loud, vulgar or boisterous I find what he’s talking about to be very superficial and honestly not very funny. One goal of intelligent comedy in my opinion is to make you think, which this really doesn’t do for me.

Delivery- one of the most important and yet often unnoticed elements of good comedy, and Rob seems to be a natural at it
This Robert Mac is one funny Guy. His material is 100% Mac not that I've never heard of the jokes...I've never even thought about his humor. His quick pace and confidence moves the show along right where he wants it to be. Pay attention and try to keep up. I'm going to watch again to see what I missed. Great show. Well done.

I love the character he presents. He plays this role of an outlandish skepticist/conspiracist and it's almost like he's not even intentionally telling jokes, just going up on stage, saying what he thinks and wondering why everyones laughing at what hes saying.

I love puns they're my favorite form of joke. I love the way this guy talks softly but carries a big schtick. I love when it's oh pun season on comedians. This guy comes across so funny.

Im not hating or anything, I just genuinely don't understand... why are puns your favourite? Of the wordplay jokes, why is it better than double entendre or rhyming? What about shock jokes, or characters? Irony? And how about hyperbole... or humorous analogy? Madcap (outright bizarre, nonsensical or silly humour)??
Ive always enjoyed a mixture of irony, misplaced focus, madcap and analogy/hyperbole because i feel like that gives you a lot of room for more complex jokes if you want those. The irony +analogy/hyperbole is usually a manifestation of intense sarcastic tendencies but the madcap and misplaced focus jokes (in theory) should communicate my humility provide some light relief (from what is otherwise extremely dry humour), keeping things fresh and with a bit of unpredictability
I feel like puns are just... you get the pun and that's it... :(

Intelligence with a twist. Awesome! After the first joke or so, I thought, “Is he going to have to pretend to be stupid, I mean, intellectually challenged, for the rest of the set? That’ll be hard to do.” But he pulled it off marvelously and kept me engaged, laughing, and admiring his skill.
