Wow....soooooo delicious. Thank u for trying and loving Nigerian dishes
Fufu is from Ghana
Not from Nigeria
We have Nigerian fufu, she ate Nigerian fufu
She is eating iyan (,pounded yam) which is a popular Nigerian dish. It's alternative popular name is fufu.
Fufu/fufuo is an Akan word derived from a word meaning soft.
Nowadays fufu is used to describe many similar African dishes. That is a great thing.
Instead of squabbling over trivial matters let us revel in the sharing of ideas and our wonderful cuisine that brings us together
Someone as far afield as in Australia is trying 'fufu' and look at the smile after she tastes it
Let us appreciate and enjoy the moment instead of debating over unimportant differences of opinion
Fufu not banku or futu ekpa
IS NO ONE GONNA TALK ABOUT THE PRICES?! THATS SO EXPENSIVE
those are aud. but it's still expensive.
What else can be expected from white people 😂
inflation bro
The prices are crazy. You will eat 10 plates of each of each of these dishes in Nigeria.
@@arinolaokubule9958I hope you have thought about export prices and tax fees and all the kind of prepping that goes into shipping food overseas
👏I love seeing people enjoy Nigerian food.
This is paunded yam not fufu it's nice you love it😊❤
Iyan is pounded yam
Fufu is cassava ❤
Both are delicious but taste different
i swr o i was wondering what the hell she was saying
Thank you for educating me because im always scared to get it wrong (im Polynesian born in NZ) but i love Nigerian food and can only get it if i drove 8 hours away 😭😭
Fufu isn’t only made with cassava
@@sandracole1562 Technically by name it is...but the term "FUFU" is more popular than all the other names. But it's all "swallow" at the end of the day❤💁🏾♀️ 😉 enjoy.
And.
I am Sudanese...different dialects for the same food. Nothing to get hype about...smh
Love from Nigeria ❤❤❤
As an Ethiopian I can confirm That our Food is very delicious.
I absolutely love this place. My daughter hipped me to try this. Amazing food♥️
Nigerian food is actually so freaking bomb❤
I come Ghana and i love fufu🇬🇭
I’m from ghana 2 do u speak twi?
@@Olive41 i do
I do
@@Olive41I do to I'm from Ghana
I'm from Ghana too 😊
It’s basically a west African dish. Popular among the Ghanaians and Nigerians. I’m Ghanaian and I’m happy to see you try one of my traditional dishes!!
do you chew it or swallow ?
@@koob6736 swallow. Lol
Pounded yam is Nigerian not Ghanaian. In Ghana our fufu is made from plantain and cassava and is eaten with soups not stews (like egusi for example) a few similarities possibly, but very distinct.
Egusi is Nigerian dish strictly remember ghanaians once lived in Nigeria so its not surprising if they adopted Nigerian food.
EGUSI as the name suggests is a NIGERIAN dish
I love that you had respect for Nigerian culture and its food ❤
Fufu is not only a west African dish. You can find it in nearly every African country and it's not always made out of yam. There are many variations of it:)
It's a west African dish bro
@user-jk1sl2yz5c I never said it isn't west African but to say that it is only west African is simply just wrong cause you can like I said find it in nearly all parts of Africa. I myself am central African and we also have fufu and I have a lot of friends who are from other parts of Africa (other than western parts) and they all told me that they also have. The difference is the kind of flour that is used.
@user-jk1sl2yz5c I'm not saying that it is not a west African dish but claiming that it is exclusively a west African dish is simply not true
u guys never try south sudanese food u always care about the same anoying west African food 🙄
@@Ayiedaxya ummm
I love the way she pronounces fufu
Fufu is my favorite cuz I'm a Nigerian 🇳🇬
same
Same

Hmmm imma be honest. I don't think that is fufu. Especially since fufu is made from Cassava. Iyan is made from pounded yam and I believe that's what you are eating. The two taste very different
Just as some info, that IS Fufu, Fufu is made form multiple grain like Yeast, Yams, Cassava, etc.
@@singingartist3507I’m Nigerian, fufu is made from Cassava
@@Ma_lia19 Correct
@@singingartist3507not correct. This your definition of fufu isn’t the Nigerian definition. But I think that definition applies to Fufu from other west African countries like maybe Ghana? But in Nigeria, Fufu is made from only cassava
I love that you like my country dish but it’s actually called pounded yam fufu is made from cassava while pounded yam (what you call fufu ) is made from pounding yam till it’s doughy like
I,m happy you like Nigerian food as a Nigerian
Am from Gambia 🇬🇲 and I love fufu and am glad to see others like it too

Lekker 🎉
You should try African stew
Fufu isn't necessarily pounded yam. Pounded yam is an entirely different dish (which looks just like fufu). Some call it fufu. But fufu is originally made from pounded cassava.
Fun fact: Pounded yam is a much more elite dish than fufu in Nigeria and West Africa.
Correct
Fufu is the process the flour can be very varied...
My dad is from Nigeria we eat that all the time we make it at home and we eat it with a spicy soup❤❤❤
