@@ontopofitnews it sounds cool but it’s inaccurate. As the area of our knowledge grows the perimeter that increases is that of our knowledge. Think of it like a circle growing inside another circle. When the one in the middle (knowledge) grows the bigger circle (ignorance) has no change in perimeter, and arguably decreases in area.

Neil is responsible for getting so many kids (and adults) interested in science again - and it's awesome.
For real. I was borderline (if not technically) an adult when he made me love science. Throughout almost, if not all, all of K-12 school I all but hated science; so confusingly boring. However, after watching someone like him..I've since learned to love and be interested in all types of science.
Bill Nye is responsible for getting NDT interested in getting so many kids (and adults) interested in science again - and its awesome

Lmao, ok so vienna sausages are just disgusting cheap sausages and they look like dicks. When neil says i stopped eating them because he noticed the vienna boys chior sang in the sopranos key hes alluding to the act of castration where 100s of years ago people used to cut the balls of boys with amazing singing voices because they could reach a high pitch and by cutting off their balls they cant produce testosterone and thus cant go trhough pubirty and ruin their singing voices. The high pitch was very desirable to listeners, and during this time women werent allowed to perform in opera and stuff, so neil is basically saying once he heard the vienna boys chior singing at such a high pitch he was like oh they cut off their dicks and balls and the dicks get packaged up as vienna sausages so he was like...yeah ima stop eating this. Note: In Austria where vienna is shit like this actually happened
