Another brilliant video Harper. I dig how you don’t rely on speeding up the video like other CZcams detailers. Instead, you carefully edit and narrate your videos. As a result, I watch from start to finish. ✌🏻
That’s Jeffrey. It’s really tricky with the machine polishing videos as it’s about 90 mins of footage, so quite difficult to condense down
@@HarpersCarDetailing I’d imagine it’s worth it to gain start to finish views. I find sped up videos to be unwatchable.

Quite a few people remove the hubs completely to have the alloys alone.
The hubs are supposed to make it more energy efficient.
Helps with aerodynamics

Hi nick, nice too see you again, correction paint outside is very difficult because you can scratch more the paint but the weather is nice and especially no windy is fine nice video.

It’s not too bad actually, but you will need something strong than S30 if you are aiming for perfection.
Maybe try S20 black if you are going for a single stage machine polish 👍🏼

A question Nick. It always confuses me why detailers use the two bucket method on paint and yet not on the wheels. Surely the wheels could get scratched if only using one bucket.
Good question. I always make the wheels as spotless as possible before any contact.
The clean bucket would get contaminated far too quickly so would be a waste of water.

Do you keep the car to cure after or tell the customer to keep it inside for a few days? The coatings I’ve come across basically warn you no rain or driving for a couple days after while the coating cures. Hoping you will tell me I can stop being concerned with that warning….
I had the car over night, but I’ll always look ahead at the weather to make sure it’s suitable for the application.
I think the driving applied more to if it’s raining as I can’t see why there would be any issue with driving after applying a coating.
Depends which coating you use, as some cure within 6 hours 👍🏼
How do you put coatings on outdoors. Nearly every coating manufacturer states to do it indoors in a sanitised enviroment?
Just as normal. I’ve never had any issues with coating outside. Carpro Cquartz is great outside and Gyeon have a range called Evo which is designed for outside use.
How does the camera not get wet? Like not even a single droplet.
It sometimes does, but I just wipe it dry.
If I need to get close I keep the camera far away and zoom
Do you believe in an added benefit using a dedicated bug remover instead of apc?
No not at all. I’d use a citrus degreaser at it’s very versatile 👍🏼
Hello nick excellent video what’s the cure time on the car pro ceramic and is it ok in direct sunlight ?
Carpro quote around 12 hours.
As long as the panel isn’t too hot, I haven’t had an issue applying or without the coating failing if applied in the sun 👍🏼
