@@beckycrump8831That's sad. I remember when facing my second stint of homelessness due to having suffered a broken leg, major surgery, and subsequent job loss, one organization wouldn't help me because I _DIDN'T_ have a drug or alcohol addiction. The lady gave me such a hard time and was really negative, "I said when was the last time you had a drink or got high?!!". When I repeated that I don't drink or do drugs, she got mad and said, "Then we can't help you!", and hung up.
During my first stint of homelessness, although I had a part-time job at the time, I was actually told by one organization that I didn't make _enough to qualify_ to receive their help! I could see if I'd made too much, but in that instance I didn't make enough! The guy actually told me that if I could raise my monthly income by a few hundred dollars, then I could qualify.🙄

what's she doing to get a home, does he understand nothing of homelessness, this poor girl is too busy trying to stay alive .........it's a visicous circle of no end homelessness, unless places are made available for these people it will continue to get worse....

I hope she reported that foster mom for kicking her out! I wouldn't be surprised if the Mom kept getting the money from Social Services! That's unconscionable for that foster mom to do that. If she had a problem with the girl, she should have gotten her transferred to another home.
