Often comments are just that.. comments . Why people feel they are being disrespected is beyond me ! Often people tell me people show disrespect towards me. I listen...... try to understand all points of view...and if it directly pertains to me.... I attempt to do whats needed to change. If not I smile and move on !
There is a big difference between disrespectful comments and comments with an argument the other person emotionally finds offensive.
The first type is simply anti-social, left by crass people.
Anyone offended by the second type is probably one of your crass people who is anti-social.

Some people confuse "volume", meaning number or amount, with "volume", meaning loudness, and then tell you "half the country ..." or "a 50/50 split" based solely on the amount of comments they've come across in their selected social media.

I have been a subscriber and a fan of Hickok 45 and son for the purity of their content and pure honesty. Thank you sir and don't stop.
In the 80s I watched professional agitators demonstrate in front of an embassy located in San Francisco. Total number of people: 22. I watched them arrive, get dropped off, setup their microphone and amplifier, drag out their placards, and start marching in a circle yelling and chanting. All of the news cameras were at eye level or lower with no oriel shots. The news that night made that small group of people to look as if there were hundreds of people demonstrating. The same thing on the internet when people and bots have multiple accounts. i support and enjoy Hickok45 and hope he and his son keeps up informing us about guns.

I had a guy working for me that called in sick a couple days. He came in again and that night I saw him on the news at a protest. I asked him about it the next day. He told me they paid him more per day than he could make with me! I was surprised! Small group taped to look bigger like you said. And well paid.

Hi Hickok ,45. I'm A Vietnam Vet, I watch your series often. I.ve been shooting pistol for over 69 years, and reloading for over 50 years. As far as I can see or read from your presentations, you're doing great. I have three sons, six grand sons, two grand daughters, and so far ten great grand children, My sons (who are now in their 50;s) have been shooting since age six. The grand kids, including the grand daughters are all good shots, safe, accurate, and range polite. Keep doing your presentations, no negative comments from me or my family. P.S. You're younger than me but I consider you a contemporary.

Know that there are many that value and respect your work on educating and promoting good use of firearms, and the enjoyment of shooting in general. The vocal minority that resorts to slander and personal attacks will always be loud, and most often than not they are misguided and usually maliciously guided by either other people with an agenda, or worse, social trends in vogue and constant fluctuation.

I often find content absurd and biased and have no concerns in posting the ridicule they so richly deserve in a reply .

In my area in the last six months, I have done one citizen's arrest and had multiple men run when they saw I was armed. Homeless, drugs, disrespectful kids and it's not getting better. Watch your back and always be ready to defend yourself.

I remember when I found him. I’d bought a Glock 26. And past about 30 foot I couldn’t hit anything. I was like “this stupid guns worthless”. I clicked on CZcams just knowing I’d find proof. Instead I found hickok and I’m so glad I did. Well sort of lol. My last rang trip I passed the 18k round mark with that Glock. I still can’t hold a candle to hickok but I have learned it’s not the guns fault lol.

The personal/human disconnect in interactions has lead to the degradation of mutual respect and common decency. Love your content!
I think most comments end up being bots, and its only going to get worse. Soon nearly every comment / content will be AI generated. There was a Neil Stephenson novel that touched on this, thought that part was a little silly at the time, but now its probably going to be reality very soon.

I'm friends with a young dude in my neighborhood who I fish with sometimes. When I moved into the neighborhood, he saw me walking to one of the private lakes with my rod. He initiated a conversation, and started telling me about all of the good spots in the neighborhood. He was all of 13 years old at the time. He was one of the most wholesome kids I have ever met in my life, and I found out soon after that his parents wouldn't allow him on social media, nor would they allow him to roam the internet unsupervised. And that kid (now a young man) is a freaking rock star of a good human.

There used to be a gimmick on TV, in the 80s and 90s, where they'd gauge the volume of the audience's cheering to determine who would win a competition. It was like "raising hands" but depended on noise. That's how I see the internet. It's just about how loud/obnoxious you can be to "win."

Thank you for your video and insight. Today's topic reminds me of two different things I've heard:
1. Empty barrels make the most noise;
2. Beware of idiots in large groups.
So NRA, MAGA and Trump.
I had a teacher once, tenth grade I believe, who had the best response. The kids were being loud and obnoxious and she told them to quiet down. One kid said, "Yeah but it's the squeaky wheel that gets the grease." The teacher, without missing a beat responded, "Yeah but it's the empty wagon that makes all the noise."
That was around 1977 or so. Now, the teacher would probably have to attend sensitivity training for that

That was in the early 60s in Chattanooga.
I usually was reading yesterdays homework for the next class and listening with the other ear.
The teacher in English asked me a question because I was not looking at the board.
I answered without looking up.
She grabbed me by the ear and put me out of the class and off to the Vice Principle's office we went.
There was steam coming out of her ears, when I started laughing because the VP was not there.
All that was OK. It prepared me for the draft and basic training.

Working with the public I've had a handful of men, in real life, threaten to fight me. So far (who knows) I always say, "yes, please." I've literally had guys run away from me while still calling me wimp or equivalent. The world has gone very very weak and stupid. Not once in 30 years of adult life has a bully ever manned up to me after I accepted the challenge. I'm not tough and I'm not any kind of fighter. I just know that if someone is on that tactic from the go, they've already lost and I have nothing to fear. Never look for trouble, there's always someone more ruthless, angry, crazy, strong, faster thinking, cunning etc. You may just find them. :)

We, as a society put way too much credence in what the few say, They are the ones screaming the loudest about their rights. They are the ones protesting everything. The media buys into this behavior, much of which is borderline insane. Just ignore these people and keep your powder dry ! Thanks for the reminder, Mr. Hickok.

Is it really a small part? Both sides in this country want to force their way onto everyone. It’s sickening. Whether it’s forcing you to accept the alphabet soup or ultranationalism, there’s no middle ground.
