In 1984 the American media lost all credibility with me. I was a Major in the Army stationed at Hilden, West Germany working with WBK III. At the time President Reagan had decided to deploy Pershing Missiles to West Germany as a deterrent to Russia's deployment of SS-21s. There was an anti-American demonstration at the front gate of the kaserne I was staying at. I was 50 yards away watching from the balcony of my room. At the most there was 100-150 people. The polizei showed up read them the riot act, waited 5 minutes, and with much vigor forcibly removed them. Two days later, I fly into JFK and the American media was all about the anti-Reagan demonstration in Hilden, West Germany, where thousands upon thousands of demonstrators showed up! I was there, this was a deliberate lie! Why? The media hated President Reagan and tried to force him to change his decision. I was there!

The so called media did the same during the Iranian hostage situation in the 70s. I was acquainted with Col. Charles W Scott in the 1990s. He told me that after his release he watched American TV coverage of the crises that reportedly showed untold hundreds of demonstrators outside the embassy. He stated that the demonstrators on camera were the usual bunch that the Iranian government sent out everyday while a block away the city went about its normal business.

Generally people who are saying that news sources are programming you ect,,, are heading to areas of information that support their views, end up in tribal echo chambers of nonsense, which leads to a very vulnerable person lighting himself on fire outside a Trump trial... Go to Reuters for a start. Stop doing your 'research' and start putting some trust in a source that isn't involved in selling the cult of personality. This is where we get into trouble today, everything is an opinion and everyone has an opinion, instead of researching and finding and reporting the truth, news and social media report opinions and we citizens only require news of opinions and not the real truth anymore, if we want to find the truth about almost anything follow the money trail.
Research and hard work as journalists once used to do, took time to get to the truth, but now we have instant reporting within minutes of happenings, and this is where we lose the truth.
Have you also noticed where everything and anything is Breaking News! it is all done for ratings on national state local and social media news levels. No one wants the truth or requires or demands the truth, lies and brainwashing has taken the place of truth, now opinions, tribalism, division, fear, chaos, and confusion is what we have and hold dearly too.

We were in a discussion regarding the 2020 election and she told me Trump was a racist and liar and that's why she was voting for Joe Biden. I told her I'd put together a referenced paper with videos and articles of Joe Biden being blatantly racist, lying and getting caught, plagiarizing, repeating the very same thing over and over, as well as the policies that led to bad outcomes and disasters. I also included the senile and disgusting things he's been caught saying on camera, sexual assaults and inappropriate behavior with kids, as well as the MULTITUDE of scandalous kickbacks and quid pro quos. It was around 13 pages I sent to her to read, and her request was that if she read it, I'd read what she show me in return. I learned back in 1992 that CNN was full of it. I was deployed to a location and upon return told that I was never there. A day later I saw on CNN what was going on. Since I was there, I knew they were full of it, but I couldn't say anything. Social Media didn't exist back then and the press wasn't really allowed on the battlefield either. All these years later, you can't run a redlight without being caught on a camera. I consider myself a constitutionalist, because I believe in what this country was founded upon. Not all of my children agree with me, and we discuss it every now and then. One son lives in the big city and thinks like big city folk do. One son lives in the dessert and thinks like hard working oil field folk do and the third son lives in a camper in our back yard and don't really know what to think. I also have a couple daughters who think completely different than the rest of us.... I take all of their views into consideration but still I have my own that I stand by. It's not always easy because some of them are far left, some far right and it's not always the same. I'm proud that they made up their own minds, whether I agree with them or not.

“What does not kill me makes me stronger,” Nietzsche wrote. But hurt doesn’t make us stronger. Hurt just makes us hurt. The whole place feels like a grave. A cathedral for the dead and the fallen. The ground is littered with discarded books and magazines. A broken crack pipe has been left on a cinder block. There is a garden chair, and overturned crates and buckets. A mangled teddy bear. Death everywhere. If they were not emotionally connected to the person who has died, the body is taken outside and that night it disappears when the truly desperate come and make food of it. We have no place left to bury or hide our dead. Some have begun to pack the orifices of the bodies with poisons even household cleaning chemicals and posting warning signs on the bodies, this is not a deterrent and many get sick and perish because they ignore the warning. In fact, few now spend the effort to cook the meat and simply gorge themselves on the raw flesh. It is now a rare sight to see even a deteriorated corpse unmolested in some way, worse are the sick that have not the strength or means to fend off the starving. No one moans or cries like in the beginning and every face has a vacant empty inhuman look, the eyes desperately searching wildly. Today I saw a woman eating small portions of flesh she had hidden in a child’s pencil case, it was decorated with figures from the cartoon called Toy Story, and when I saw it something in me broke, I am struggling to maintain a positive attitude and ashamed of my weakness and lack of coping skills. On a positive note, I long ago established a thriving cockroach farm in an 80-gallon fish tank stuffed with empty cardboard and egg cartons and have been very disciplined with keeping my meals small so as not to generate suspicion while maintaining my protein intake enough to function. Cockroaches are omnivores, which means they eat both plants and animals, so my day is filled looking for weeds and other insects to keep the farm going and maintain a sense of purpose. Kuru Is a Neurodegenerative Disorder That Is Passed on Through Cannibalism and many now show the symptoms of muscle twitching, loss of coordination. Other symptoms include difficulty walking, involuntary movements, behavioral and mood changes, dementia, and fatal insomnia. You can contract the disease by eating human flesh or coming into contact with open wounds or sores of someone living with it. The only hope now is for the dark silence of death itself.

They would tell the news, as Cronkite would famously say in his daily outro, "And that's the way it is." operative word, "IS". These shows had an editorial portion where they would give their views on perhaps one item in the news of the day, but it was tempered with objectivity. Today it is hard to find ANY news outlet which is objective. I seriously do not think this was the intention of the Founding Fathers when they enshrined _Freedom Of The Press_ in the American Constitution. Freedom Of The Press was intended for precisely the OPPOSITE reason - so people would know the FACTS and from these facts be able to and allowed to form their own conclusions.
