Refinery29 overnight oats and spaghetti squash!
@@pghanem56 Πέστα!!! Σιγά μη το καταλάβουν όμως..
Why do you make so much fuss about home cooked meals? It's the easiest thing to do. The only thing that's tiresome it's the washing afterwards.
I always make a pot of beans to last the whole week, I also batch cook steel cut oats so I can mix-n-match toppings throughout the week (I use an instant pot for both which makes it WAY easier). I keep zucchini on deck for quick & easy noodles, and a head of red cabbage to add color to a dish or for a quick & crunchy salad. Thanks for the recipes Lucie I’ll definitely be trying all of them!! 😊
It sucks to eat alone, munkbag are king for lonely people.
5 days of home cooked meals aka my normal life. 😂😂😂
Same loli literally always make my own food, who's got money to buy tbh
Yeah, no kidding!
Read my mind hahaha! ❤️
some of us dont have time to cook all that much ... that's why
@@melanieemertaylor even when I was in uni from 9-6 every day, had a 45min commute home, and worked 4 nights a week, I still managed to cook every day. It only takes 15 mins to cook a bean chilli, or a pasta dish/noodle stir fry/veggie curry, or to stick something in the oven an leave it for a bit, etc. It's quicker than waiting for a takeaway.
Can you do five days of helping the homeless
Like finding ways to help everyday exp. making meals and giving them to people, and giving people 10
Yassss
Yessssd do it!! @refinary29
Congrats Lucie on your new chapter in life being married and moving into your newlywed apartment! I wish you all the happiness for you and Michael!
they should really get a custom island built for this space, that little one looks so odd
I think it is movable so they put it there for the vid but I’m not too sure
it's a rental
I did a whole month of home cooked meals. Life changing and saved money 🥰
+blasianbeauty We believe it!!
I've done basically a whole lifetime minus special occasions 😂 so odd to me that this isn't everyones experience!
hanzi31 Oh trust me, I get what you mean. I grew up in the Philippines and I ate all home cooked meals. Up until I joined the Military and yep! I had to adjust especially when out in the field with MRE 🤣 But now I’m good. Back to home cooked meals routine. Lots of positive vibes to you 🙋🏻
As a professional meal prep chef (personal chef), I think you're doing a fantastic job! I like my pancakes fresh, so make numerous batches of the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, etc.), then pour into mason jars like pancake mix. When I'm ready, I just add almond milk, mashed banana and vanilla.
Hey guys, can you make a Try Living With Lucie foster puppy or kitty edition. We need the more fosters,a lot of animals are getting put down because there is no more space.Thank you for reading.
butternut squash is the one piece of produce I always get precut. My sanity will one day be undone but I refuse to let a squash be the thing that drives me loony.
+elodie Thanks for the tip!!
this video sounds more like “5 days of following instagram recipes”
To be fair a lot of my recipes come from CZcamsrs, so it's not totally outlandish.
your apartment looks so beautiful, clean and organized
+darishaefya Right?!
i hate all of the hate in these comments. guys, she older than she was in 2014 so obviously she sounds more scripted its because she more mature now. i personally love this video :)
Yaas loved the dinner party part. Maybe 5 weeks of hosting at home (like dinner partys, special date nights, family gatherings, brunches, potluck...) I would love something like that. I always cook at home but find myself getting into a trot and than being overwhelmed when hosting. If it's not too much stress Lucy I would love something like that :D
+clarinalein Love the suggestion!
Omg I’m obsessed with these videos I love coming home sitting on the couch and binge watching your videos keep up the great work
+sunny&honey! Yay! So glad you're enjoying!!
Hey Lucie! A tip to peel the butternut squash that is a bit safer and less time consuming - peel it before you cut it, I peel the the top or bottom half then wrap a paper towel around the peeled part (because it is slippery!) and then peel the other half and hold onto the paper towel! Then chop it up!
+tesshalpern Thanks for the tip!
I love you. You have a Smeg toaster and a crank can opener. I finally had to give in to my Grammaness last year, and went for the electric can opener. The kind that holds the can once it’s open and does the clean cut. So worth it.
you guys cooking together makes me so happy:) for a second, i thought the Fink-Morris family was vegetarian, but then Lucie and Michael made that chicken dish together, and i realized lucie was using vegetarian recipes
Good!! Home made food gives ultimate satisfaction. I cook daily and love discovering and experimenting.... love your cooking homemade meals ideas.
All these were so good! My favourite was the butternut squash one! 💟💟
Am I the only one noticing that she looks kinda more mature than before? I mean she looks different?
5 days of pregnancy update please
I cant quite put my finger on it but I see it too. She looks more mature. Maybe it's being married, whatever it is, it agrees with her. She looks stunning
I was literally just thinking this. She’s a married WOMAN now. I love it👸🏼
She got colored contacts
Yum! Delicious food. I love how you try a variety of food, and like show how you make it. The foods you try are unique and I really hope I try your food someday! All the food you try are super healthy and scrumptious, and you are very healthy! 😊💖
loved this episode. Gave me all sorts of healthy cooking ideas. Love love love!
+carlalblackwell Yay! That was the goal!
I meal prep every Sunday. It seriously saves my life (and my wallet).
+bobbib. That's awesome!
Loved this video very informative and helpful
I love how organized your kitchen is🥺🥺 Dream kitchen😍😍
+donicarono #organizationgoals
We love you lucie!!! You bring such a bright refresh to Refinery29! I want to see you try being a garbage man, it will be interesting 😊
friday looked delicious!!
A hack for slicing grape tomatoes is to place them between two lids and slicing them horizontally. You slice them much quicker than going one by one.
Can you make a video about 5 days of learning embroidery 🧵 pleaseeeeee
Such great recipes!
Everything looks delicious...but I could eat breakfast for every meal, so the pumpkin chocolate chip pancakes are top for me!!
Spam and rice are the best! Cheap but delicious 😂
Awesome video love you Lucy
Put your squash (cut it into half before) into the oven until it is soft enough to be cut completely.
From where I come from, the challenge is 5 days of only non home cooked meals as I have home cooked meals every day.
Crock pot and rice cooker are good choices for an easy home cooked meal. It is still more easier if you use frozen veggies or stir fry for your meals
That Olive Oil bottle is soo cute!!!
HaHa! Did anyone else think she said "My Goat?" Later realized she
actually said "Michael."
We have that same exact toaster
Congrats on your wedding!
Will you upload a wedding video because I think you said you would but I'm not sure...
Five days of making fermented foods please!
Sarah Ebersole we did something like this!!!! Find my episode making kombucha and sauerkraut etc!
5 days of baking 💕💕💕
congrats on getting married!
Do 5 days of one color food like monday - only red food or only purple food then a different day you do a different color
this is awesome!!!
+mollysilverman So glad you think so!!
I haven't caught up with this show in a while so I didn't realise you and Michael got married, congratulations!!
Love how you're using less meat in your dishes!
Home cooked meals >> take out
OMG I love all of your vids I have watch all of them about 50 times and I am never bored they are all so fun and unique I love you Lucy
Omg, wow! That is amazing!!
Hi Lucie! Thank you for producing interesting&inspiring videos all the time!
How about "5 Days of Learning 5 musical instruments" next time??
Like recording a bit of the melody played by different instruments every day and remix them together as a piece of work!
I think it would be fun!
+leiyiran Thank you for leaving a positive comment & this lovely suggestion!
i really want to throw that exact dinner party now
She’s such a cutiee❤️
Super video ... luv you Lucy from India
+silverlane
You should make your own enchilada sauce it is super easy and clean if you make your own :)
Omg we have the same neckless 🥰
We cook the butternut squash first then cut it .
+brianamishler Thanks for the tip!!
Girl! You are such a brave giiirl hehehhe beacuse all of the challenges you do.
Great apartment! Where is your coffee table from?
yayyy my fav is married
OMG!!!! 😍😍❤❤❤
Cutting butternut squash is the toughest arm workout out there. Although here’s a tip: warm your knife by running a lighter through the edge of the knife 👌🏽
+gaiag Thanks for the chopping tip!
That apartment is in New York? I can't imagine how expensive that is. Yikes!
@@kristiananoel whoa
Kristiana Noel shit they can buy their own house with that
yeah it's crazy. I love in NYC also and pay way less (still too much but she's so irressponsible)
Kristiana Noel it might seem okay for her because of her job
Kristiana Noel how
Can you try five days of second sleep? I just tried it the other day and it was weird but I was also super productive. Would love to see your thoughts on it!
Kyra Faith second sleep ? As in Naps ?
Brianda G sort of. It’s something people used to do a long time ago. Basically, you sleep for three ish hours and then wake up for an hour or two and then fall back asleep. Those two hours you are awake are said to be when you’re most productive. I’ve tried it a few times and I think it’s really effective.
I liked day 1
"Some fresh Allegra." yes, yum. i will make this sright now.
No it wasn't just you Lucie, I tried dicing a butternut squash once, and never will I do it again. Now I buy the pre-diced kind, it's one of the only things I do buy already chopped.
Use a large chef knife and use your weight in your upper body as you cut. Start by cutting the ends off. Then cut where it goes in before the bulb type part. Peel it all with a peeler, then dice and scoop the seeds out. You can roast the seeds just like pumpkin seeds.
Just cut it in half and put it into the oven at lower heat until it is soft enough to cut.

This is a healthy way of not eating junk at work!!
+joesfavaldes So true!!
5 days of zero waste meals! ♻️♻️♻️
LUBUG LOOKS GORGEOUS WITH LONG HAIR ❤🦋💞😻💗💁🏼♀
I thought the comments would be loaded with this tip, but I don't see any in my scan. So, one of the things that stuck out to me, is to cook the butternut squash before trying to cut it. They are really always that hard if you don't cook them first.
+kaymiller Thanks for filling us in!
hey. Did Michael just get more used to being on camera or did the person who films you guys changed? I just find him way more at ease. Anyway, this is great! I love seeing your adventures
i love these 5 days challenge like if you feel the same and want them to post more...............
This video was so scripted 😒 miss the old vibe her videos had 😞
same
Christ, talk about circular living and less waste, and then people staging lifestyles like THIS still getting so much spotlight. So staged, so blah. SO SCRIPTED and BORING.
I agree I like Lucie but it's clearly scripted only promoting her self and he KITCHEN now she's fake
Hi Lucie do try 4 days of vipassana meditation!!
is it in Lucie’s contract that she has to smile with her mouth open as wide as possible in the thumbnail of each video
dang???? she balling
Wow it's so amazing...luv this video...lots of love from india.
I hope so u all will give some response
+tanixxvlogs Thanks for being a part of the fam!!
You look stunning
I wanted to subscribe but I scrolled up as I was already subscribed but I asked myself "when did i-"
this video was underwhelming. maybe too scripted? idk but dislike
Que men definitely
Can you do 5 days of studying for the sat!
?
출국
lucie how long is your necklace? 15 inch? 16? love it so much
Yay I’m early
you should do 5 days of eating only Tasty recipes
5 days of shopping only at independent stores?
now I'm hungry 😅
+cristianasilva LOL! Same!!
@@refinery29 those pancakes looked so yummy 😭
How about 5 days of vsco
( i am not a vsco girl )😊😊
Less narcissism, more recipe info. Thank you.
If I wanted to do this I would have to go buy 100 things of Tupperware 😂😵 12 per day would be used that’s just too much
Try salsa dance with michael
+mrinalvenkatesh She has tried that! czcams.com/video/XuY6-7jvdio/video.html
Do you still do try living with Lucie
Why is Lucie cooking in a beautiful long red dress? LOL
Although that cauliflower "rice" bowl looked very pretty, I doubt it had any flavor. I mean black beans from a can? Seriously? But the butternut squash looked ok. Might try that...minus the enchilada sauce.
It seems like they added quite a few spices, so I think it might have actually been pretty tasty! What's wrong with black beans from a can ? I am genuinely asking, I never had those ! :)
@@CoachCarter-xh8sx I'm Latina so it's practically sacrilegious to eat unseasoned beans from the can. Typically the spices are added to the protein of the meal to compliment the carb.
