I got pulled over last night for my driver headlight being out and I've never had to change a bulb before and didn't want to take it in. I watched this video and I was able to fix it on my own! It was really cramped like you said but I did it!
Queen, HELP ME!!! The passenger side bulb is easy to replace. It's really not hard to replace headlights...but the problem is the driver side headlight. It's horrible. It's like it's designed to be a pain in the but due to that fuse box and the actual frame of the vehicle. For the bulb, did you just pop off the cap and struggle with it until the bulb came out? The design is beyond frustrating.
@@andyappleton3353 I did struggle for a while because of how little room there is, I scraped my hand up a bit too. Took me a while and I almost gave up a couple times but I'm glad I kept at it. The hardest part for me was getting the bulb into the right spot, I was afraid it was going to fall.

Passenger side, like any headlight bulb...easy. It's that design on the driver side (RAGE). But thanks. I'm gonna just have to go at it again. Wish me luck!!

This tutorial was vital to me changing the passenger-side headlamp in a 2019 Hyundai Accent SEL. The hardest part is getting the old bulb loosed from the retention spring. The spring wire is on a hinge and held in place by a bracket that the long end of the wire fits into. To free the bulb, one must bend the wire enough to get the long end of the wire out of the bracket. Once the wire is free from the bracket, it is free to articulate on the hinge, allowing removal of the bulb and insertion of the replacement bulb. To secure the replacement bulb after it is put into its proper place, articulate the wire spring back to the position where it can secure the bulb in place and bend the long end of the wire to put it back into the bracket. Once this is done, the electrical connector can be re-attached.

How about the parking lights?
No one does the driver side everyone does the Passenger side
Maybe it is more common for the passenger side to go out than the driver's side. I know in the case of the vehicle in this video the Owner of the vehicle only wanted the light bulb that was out replaced.
With that said. I always recommend replacing both bulbs when one goes bad.
That's because unless you have really small hands you have to remove the headlight and on an Accent that is a pain in the butt...
@@ericfleet9602 Eric....yes. I am not succeeding in changing driver side headlight bulb. THAT is the problem. Changing a headlight bulb is easy on the passenger side

Hey question I have a 2020 Hyundai accent and want to put Led bulbs in and looking on Amazon will these work or is their something that needs to be changed in order for the Led to work in my headlight
you can find led direct fit replacements for your car on amazon or ebay. make sure they have the anti flicker built in or get the add on module. look at these links, they might help: amz.run/5iLz or ebay.us/RJs8xH

Is there a special trick to changing the headlight bulb on the driver side? 2018 accent. It's not changing the bulb that is a challenge. That parts easy. It['s working to get that bulb out on the driver side that is the problem. It's like it was designed to make it difficult.
I have itty bitty lady hands. I don't know how anyone could do thos with hands that are bigger than mine. It is such a cramped space.
It is pretty cramped in there. Us techs are usually pretty good at fitting into tight spaces. Lol. And... we are referred to as Grease Monkeys a lot, I don't think monkeys are known too much for having big hands. I guess it all just works out.

You can open it without taking the headlight out but to put it back in, it’s a different story.
I had the same question. The driver's-side is a pain in the butt. A video including that would've been helpfull.

Same - the headlight assembly is about 1.5 inches away from the fusebox. I fiddled with it for about an hour, then took it to my mechanic. He popped it in in about 1 minute. LOL. Did I ever look stupid! He wasn't going to charge me, but I insisted on paying some appreciation money. Having a great mechanic is truly a blessing!

Justin, that is problem I'm having. I'm trying to find out if there's any trick to working in that horribly designed tight space. Moving fuse box will not help. It's the frame of the vehicle that makes that space so tight.
Show the hard side drivers side. You are cowards you only show the passenger side.
