The 'radio' is a radio distribution/piped audio thing. There's one wire for every station on the selector. Usually they're piped in through one cable with multiple conductors, but it's possible that there's a deficit of those cables in North Korea.
My grandpa ran a motel from 1977-2000 that was notorious for being really sleezy and attracting a lot of seedy people. It was used in a lot of police stings. They kept a lot of their original 70s style; and the fact it looks equivalent/almost better than what North Korea currently has is hilarious. Fun fact: the motel was used in a scene of the movie “House of the Rising Sun.”

The 'radio' is a radio distribution/piped audio thing. There's one wire for every station on the selector. Usually they're piped in through one cable with multiple conductors, but it's possible that there's a deficit of those cables in North Korea.

My grandpa ran a motel from 1977-2000 that was notorious for being really sleezy and attracting a lot of seedy people. It was used in a lot of police stings. They kept a lot of their original 70s style; and the fact it looks equivalent/almost better than what North Korea currently has is hilarious.
Fun fact: the motel was used in a scene of the movie “House of the Rising Sun.”
