Not bugged anywhere you showed, no.
The radio doesn’t work, I’m guessing, because they don’t want to interfere with any signals and don’t want to bother other guests. The old iphone port is fine because it’s a hotel room. The radio must have been an investment, they won’t keep replacing it everytime a new charger port shows up.

I'm pretty sure the reason the 'radio" didn't work was because it was actually a speaker that played music from your iPhone.

This is way too different from my grandpas apartment in seoul. There were no irreplaceable wires no radio of some kind and no fruit bowl. This might just be because he is at an expensive place but I don't think every building in seoul is like this.

It's an iHome dock. You can dock am iPod touch or iPhone 3/4 I think on those. Also, the reason the radio didn't work was because you have it set to iPod mode. You need to set it to FM radio mode instead. My cousin used to have one of those.

That radio has an old ipod/iphone charging port. You put a phone in that charging port and you would play music on it.

Apple spends all this time and money on proprietary connectors like the 30 pin just for people to forget it exists after like 10 years 🤦🏼‍♀️

You can change the tv channel
you don’t have to get anything from the bar
you can turn the radio to a channel instead of iPod

  • @SCFick318

An iPod 30-pin connector, a really old radio, prolly just on the fritz (radio hardware sucks, had to fix up a HAM for project in school)

Isn't that an ipod dock/alarm clock and not a radio?
