Full journey Copenhagen Metro M1 Vestamager to Vanløse 30/10/2023

Welcome back to another video. At the end of October, my mate and I went to Denmark for a mini break. Whilst in Denmark, I decided to film a bit of train and metro content for the channel. In this video, we travel the full length of the M1 line from Vestamager to Vanløse. We were lucky enough to be sat at the front of the metro. This gave us very unique views of what we could see ahead. Although it takes 25 minutes from end to end, I’ve edited it down to 21 minutes and cut out the bits of being stationary at stations.
Some history about the Copenhagen Metro system: The line opened on the 19th of October 2002 and is 14.3km (8.9mi) long. Although the lines opened in 2002, the line is still relatively new and there have been major works for crossovers and new stock to be added to the line. From Christianshavn to Vanløse, the line is shared with the M2 line. The line itself has 15 stations and the journey time from end to end is 25 minutes. The metro line operates 24/7. Across Winter 2021/2022, eight new trains were put into operation on the M1 and M2.
