Freight trains at Cardiff Central 15/05/2024
Welcome back to another video. For todays video, we are in a place I have never been to before, Wales! Just after 1pm, there was some disruption on the Great Western network between Reading and London Paddington (no surprise at all) due to a trespasser. Some GWR services were delayed into and out of Cardiff Central as a result of this. Nonetheless, the station staff were very friendly and welcoming. This video mainly contains freight trains passing through, with a few passenger trains in the background. For people wondering, this was filmed from around 12:35 to 14:30.

As a guard let me just go ahead and say it’s super easy to misread your schedule card and put the wrong destination in unknowingly- it’s why I always do what you did and go into the passenger saloon to check! Not too long ago I took a 444 out to portsmouth and accidentally put in the code for shepperton 😅😅

How much does the Scottish tax payer contribute to Edinburgh Airport? Is it in line with Cardiff Airport which costs taxpayers around £29 million pounds per year? I'm sure like us in Wales you're truly grateful, working for minimum wage per hour for Tesco or similar while our "betters " have the benefit of our largesse 🎉🎉😂

they do that a lot. every xx00 from liverpool street to norwich and every xx30 from norwich to liverpool street. also, if you're referring to the class 755 then yes some intercity services don't have first class which means they use either a stansted express 745/1 or 755 instead of the usual 745/0

ironically, the transfer for these units was cancelled and they’re now running with SWR again for the time being

@@bb-3653 maybe now, but they definitely stayed with SWR for a while after the supposed “last day”. I cant find any paths for a stock transfer on RTT either.
