7:40 actually, the power of the shield can be destroyed by Cat Noir's cataclysm, this is because although the shield provides protection, it is not invulnerable, that power belongs to the ox miraculous. The strength of the shield also depends on the holder, Fu couldn't create as strong a shield due to the limitations of his older body, but someone like Nino is capable of creating a shield to protect from things such as the impact of a giant ferris wheel, just not against the power of destruction itself from Cat Noir. Any who, it should be noted that this episode speaks a lot of truth in terms of the negative influencers online who actively spread misleading information on social medias, their influence tends to cause others to lose sight of their better judgment and believe everything these "haters" say to be true, which is what happened to Jalil. Additionally, we discover that there are now Parisians in support of Monarch, however, it is a version of Monarch that they made up themselves, this is troubling because it essentially mean there will be people, aside from Jalil, who will be more than willing to harness their negative emotions so they can call out to Monarch to be akumatized. In terms of Jean, Jean renounced the ladybug earrings and the earrings in turn had her memories up to that point, it does not mean the real Jean lost her memories as she was not a guardian, just a holder. The past ladybug holders have been anticipated to make an appearance for a long time, the ancestors were of course created and revealed by Thomas Astruc and his friend Feri Gozalez years ago, but this essentially now makes them canon in the series.
Short but sweet, Luna! The episode takes a break from plot development to focus on lore development: in this case, showing us that the 'Kwagatama' is more than just a jewel that Kwamis can spit out. The use of the Kwagatama as a means to access the memories of past Miraculous holders is reminiscent of the ability shown in "Star Trek" among the Trill - symbiotic beings, in which one creature inhabits the body of others, amassing the experiences of several lifetimes. A Trill host can even make contact with previous hosts, just as Marinette does here. (As a Star Trek fan, I really enjoy finding such similarities in plot between it and other series, though it must surely just be a coincidence.) We also got our first glimpse of a past Cat Miraculous holder, and we learned that there's a precedent for the holders of both Cat and Ladybug to be in love with each other, which could bode well for the present holders - although the situation they're in, facing Gabriel / Monarch, is quite different...
Another Star Trek similarity might help to clear up the confusion about Joan of Arc's memories. In one of the Star Trek movies, there was a Temporal Nexus in which time did not exist and a person could live forever in happiness. We learn that one character went there for a short while, but was pulled out of it; subsequently, when the movie's leading character gets to visit the Nexus, he encounters that first character, but she tells him to think of her as 'an echo of the person you knew,' a part of herself that never left the Nexus. The Joan of Arc in "Reunion" is essentially the same - it's the part of her as she was when holding the Ladybug Miraculous, which was apparently separated from her before she died, so it would have no recollection of that event or of others leading up to it.
You could look at it in another way by imagining that you had a computer on which you could load all your memories, then you moved to another part of the world and left it behind. Somebody accessing that computer could learn a lot about you, but only up to the point when you moved away, because you wouldn't have been around to load any of your memories beyond that point.

This show has always had the background role of teaching kids lessons and what not, to varying degrees of effectiveness, but this was a surprisingly on the nose lesson about the dangers of misinformation and radicalization through social media, which I was done quite well actually!

everyone seems to agree, it’s pretty safe to assume the reason Plagg didn’t give Adrien a kwagatama till now is that he just forgot it was a thing 😂 and yeah, Ladybug received hers in S2 E8, three whole seasons ago(!)

I think Joana no longer has any memories because after giving up the miraculous she was burned alive (in the show this part was not explicit for obvious reasons).

Joan of Arc is only a memory of a Ladybug holder. She is not the soul/spirit of Joan. She has no access to the events that happened after she gave up her miraculous- namely her execution.

I believe miraculous is on a short hiatus from releasing the tenth episode and it will be out the end of this month I think. I hate waiting after episode 9 but I guess it's not ready yet.

Joan of arc has the same voice as Natalie and the book has the same voice as Kagami
Marinette still loves Adrien and so does Adrien. His first priority has always been his lady, whether it's pure love or partnership! chat got closure from ladybug herself in the end scene of jubiliation! He tried to confirm whether her deepest desire really was to be with him! she denied again! He didn't want to hurt her feelings , that's why he wanted surity from her! He will never fall out of love with her . he still loves and care for his lady but will make moves on marinette as he had caught feelings for her, the same case with marinette! they have to be in love with all of each other's sides! This is how ying-yang energies work

It was spelled out in both "Queen Wasp" and "Furious Fu" that Marinette, indeed, will lose all her memories as a holder if she gives up her Miraculous. It's the reason Fu lost his memory at the end of Season 3, and the reason Chat Noir refused to give up his Miraculous to Su Han in the latter ep.
I hate to say it, but Tikki, Alya, and Joan are correct in that Marinette's focus on her relationship issues is distracting her from the mission. Then again, it's not like LB and CN have had any leads on busting Monarch--they still haven't made the connection between him and the Alliance, which would lead straight to the doors of Maison Agreste.
Jalil Kubdel is an intriguing, if annoying character. He fancies himself a scholar and an intellectual, but his theories are half-baked and his attempts to prove them ill-advised. In "Pharaoh", he risks his father's career to prove his theory about King Tut's scepter. In "Kwamibuster" he puts forth the ridiculous hypothesis that the Pyramids are alien spaceships. And here, social media scuttlebutt combined with his own anxieties about his sister lead him to invite Monarch's evil influence into his life.
Well first, you seem to have confused "Queen Wasp" with "Miracle Queen" - both episodes feature Chloé as a _form_ of Queen Wasp. At any rate, you've mainly confused/conflated Marinette giving up her _Miraculous_ with giving up being the _Guardian_ of them -THAT is what Master Fu does in "Miracle Queen", and what Su Han wants Marinette to do in "Furious Fu", that leads to losing one's memory of ever having had that status. Numerous holders have given up their Miraculous without forgetting: Alya, Nino, Chloé, Kagami, Max, Luka, even Gabriel himself (for a while) in the aforementioned "Queen Wasp".
Quick question. Do you think Nino ahould know that Adrien's Cat Noir? He'd play his role of protection correctly if he knew imo.

If she would give up the guardianship, that's the question, what would happen. It's nowhere stated yet, what would happen if she only gives up the Miraculous, but not the guardianship.
But the Kwagatama of course, can only know about the (emotions, ... memories, ..., of the) holder (not guardian) up until they gave up their Miraculous.
(And yeah, Jesus could have been a Miraculous holder, but probably not the black cat one.)
Trust me, trust me trust me the happiness will be there, but not really and synonym for you will realize why and honestly I hope glue but don’t ruin it. Anyway, I need to tell you something you have done the last to know a very good surprise but I’m so heartbreaking. Awesome. Hopefully the episode today will be in English or you can wait and listen to it in English. You’re lucky.
Sad as it is this episode does bring up a serious question will they have to give up their miraclous to be happy that means no more plagg and tikki their best friends gone forever and that also adds to the belief that having a miraculous is a curse nit a blessing at first it’s so cool but you wonder if in history there was ever anyone who had a miraclius and a normal life at the same time like mari and Adrien who was able to have a house and a job friends a wife and children and pets and a miraclius and kwami at the same time
Luna tk, I have learned from Tom astruc that the peacock miraculous can send humans to a another dimension and out of the dimension by the same way that sentimonster can be killed by snap and the humans can disappear in the cloud of smoke and sentimonster is a feather and the way that it looks and the way it is shown and shot may make you confused like some people but, that's what happens snap in to another dimension and snap out of the another dimension and snap the sentimonster that you created .there is a lot of snapping with the peacock miraculous , like a jazz band with jazz .Tom astruc said that the way to find out which one is a sentimonster is that they can't be seen by technology aka photos nor photos on phone or robot scans and Adrian and every body in the show is in the same yellow as all the human beings and can be seen by technology photos and photos of phone or robot scans and even flex is not a sentimonster because he has his photo taken , so I think that some people should stop this "whose the sentimonster "? Thing until we see some one who can't be seen by technology aka photos nor photos on phone or robot scans and videos . Like kwames like plag and tiki . I can't tell you which episode that is but that's is what I saw and thought of a twist on the twilight zone episode about a guy who makes bad people be sent to the cornmaze and an illusion that send them to another dimension looks like the cloud of smoke that magician use in their tricks and Thanos snapping every one I think that Tom astruc is probably going to put this information in the miraculous Wikipedia page at some point . I don't think that flex is a villan but, a kid with issues.
