This wasn't Johnny Bench's last at-bat. This is his home run on Johnny Bench Night at Riverfront, where they celebrated his retirement, but he still had about two weeks left to play. I think his actual last at-bat was in Houston.

5;25 I was at that game. Niekro went through the order the first time and was lights out, the next time through, he got hammered. Made Kevin Mitchell look like a little leaguer in the first inning.

Can't believe it didn't show Cal Ripken. He was one of mlb favorites. Grat ball player. Great person. Saw his last at bat and running around the entire field. Was awesome.

As a Yankee fan, I can only remember that hit in 1995 off Jack McDowell. I knew it was coming. Still, "Griffey! Is coming around." It's one of the greatest calls in baseball.
