This is even better after watching Spider-Man No Way Home.
No way home was able to balance three spidermen, multiple villains from the timelines of these two other spidermen, a character arc for Peter, respecting those two Spider-Man and giving some closure to their stories, and somehow juggled all that better than Spider-Man 3 juggled it’s villains and such. No way home was a masterpiece.

It's Amazing the amount of problems Peter could have avoided if he A.) Actually used his Super Strength outside of fighting crime and B.) Actually kept the glasses like Stark intended.
I just realized that Joker flirting with Mysterio is a Brokeback Mountain reference. Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger were the two male leads from that movie.
What's funny is the first time I watched this was maybe a week after I watched that movie for the first time (for a class). I choked on my water when I saw it. Didn't care for the movie much, but loved the reference.
That last ending where the glasses identified Quentin Beck actually made a little too much sense

No, it isn't. He said, that he is from another universe, which still makes them the same person, but with a different background.
This why recognize software and background checks would be seen as false.

The checks would be seen as "false" in the sense that those would not be viable. Yes, the data would show, that he is an ex Stark employee, but only this version of this universe. In regard of the multiverse, he could lived unlimited possible lives. So any recognize software would you just give information about this local version of this person, which may be not very useful.
And yes, it anybody at Shield actually made some deep background checks, then maybe they would find some contradictions and unreveal the "Multiverse" story to be fake. No doubt, that the real Nick Fury would have been much more suspicions and Beck was just very lucky.

and edith is an AI which shouldn't have been fooled by the visual illusions and should be able to detect drones around
@@MetalB1985 But he wasnt from another universe that was just a lie so Edith would have seen through that. Even if they put forward the argument that he wasnt the same person, our Quentin's Beck past would have raised enough questions that Peter still wouldnt have given him the glasses.
Furthermore shield would have already have found this info out a long time ago and would have never given Beck that much access.

Normally I don’t agree with hishe logic, but mysterio being identified by the glasses and Peter using them to disrupt the JJ Jameson news Broadcast made to much sense
When peter was building his new suit I wondered why he didn't keep the KAREN(?) AI since she was self learning and integrate the glasses AI into his suit. Or since everything Tony made in the recent years was nano tech, have the glasses turn into a pair of contact lenses or something that can also be on his person so he can prevent what happened at the end of the movie. Eh the likely excuse is that Beck and his group had time to scrub their identities but thats actually true. Edith should be CONSTANTLY updating Peter with visual information. The moment it scanned Beck and revealed nothing there would be a problem. Same with the projectors in the room

@@jhonreckner9155 You don't think Jarvis (who was able to evade and block Ultron) or any of Tony's subsequent and probably more advanced AI's would block requests to delete information on Stark servers from disgruntled ex-stark employees? I mean sure, Mysterio is pretty smart. But Tony is smarter, and a really paranoid guy, especially after Obadias (Iron Monger) tried to kill him.

Edith doesn't seem as intelligent as, say, Jarvis or Karen. She doesn't say or do anything without prompting and doesn't appear to have a personality of any sort.
Edith 100% should have identified Mysterio and the Stark drones in the bar, and more importantly there shouldn’t be the function in Edith for Peter to just transfer its control to anyone. Edith should require more to be transferred
