  • I hear Hams say the small soldering irons will not necessarily carry their weight. I see it differently. There are many occasions where I use the UY Chan TS100 as my GoTo iron. It will not do every job, but it does a lot of jobs without the hassle of pulling out the Weller, Hakko, or some other Fire-Breather. Various tips for different job types are available for the TS100 or TS101.

Shenanigans, I tell you! Especially without using a DenCo. 😜

BTW, 100% of DenCo's are currently built with a UY Chan TS100 on the workbench. On occasion, I will use the battery in progress to power the build completion of itself.

Dennis! Man . . . I was already through with the video when I realized that shining spectacle of battery brilliance, The Denco, was sitting right there! smh. I betcha it's in the next video using a battery, lol. Thanks so much for watching and taking the time to join in. Until the next time in a Korean restaurant, 73 de K0WHW

That's why those Dencos are so outstanding! I betcha those people that don't like small soldering irons aren't using Dencos! 73

Oh boy, I think I need one of those 12v solder irons. What was the name on that?

That’s the UY Chan TS100. They’re 12-24v. The desk power supply that comes with it puts out 24v. Link in the description to the upgraded model, TS101. Dennis says all his batteries are assembled with one. 73, Kyle.
