Keith and Hannah are complete opposites, which is why I love pairing them together in extended segments in the show now. It just works for some reason. You guys rock. Thanks everyone for putting all these cool places around the world on display!

Do Sweden next
Technically, the peninsula with Sweden, Norway ,and Finland is called Fenno-Scandia. At least I got that from the CPG Grey video about Scandinavia. Happy to help!
I guess by the time you reach Tuvalu 🇹🇻 it will be underwater
This is either funny and sad at the same time bro
Dark humor is like clean water - not everybody gets it
Fun fact: all consonants of the name Tuvalu are not allowed in Japanese phonetics, so they call it Tsubaru.
BLAZING MARSHMALLØW I saw a comment about that with Maldives on the Botswana video so...
Tuvalu Toodaloo
Barby,I think it would be really awesome if you could include a fraction of the National anthem in the country episodes,or at least in Flag fan Friday 😊
yes; i agree. a minute can be enough
เบน เบน i always thought like a stylized version of the anthem could be the background music, like just an instrumental or something
@@jobwechuli I'd say 20 seconds would be enough
A metal cover by Keith *o*
เบน เบน could be the outro so if you want to listen to it you can but if you don’t want to listen to it it won’t take up time in the video
“I mean, it’s just college football, so either way everybody’s a loser.”
Gold.
I ctfu on that xD
I'm Norwegian and I'm eating Grandiosa while watching this video.
I'm from Sweden and eating one right now haha
As Norwegian I always found Grandiosa as a very boring pizza, much prefer DR ötker even though it is German and not Norwegian.
SoidSnake big one

Im norwegian. Og jeg synes Grandiosa er helt ok

I honestly didn't know that underground roundabouts were uncommon elsewhere.
In all my life I haven't seen one, and I've been to almost 20 countries... If there are any, they're pretty rare.
I think I have found some in Switzerland, Monaco and London. Still, I wouldn't say it's a common practice there.
I'm from Switzerland and i know of two nearby, but it's rare.
Tom Scott did a video on the underground roundabouts in my town
Same!
Flags: Norway has never used the Swedish flag except when they traded south of Spain (pirates did not attack Swedish ships). They did not use the weird flag (the "Herring salad") only in 1844, but 1844 - 1898. The Navy flag was, however, untouched.
Andreas Kolle Why didn't they attack swedish ships? Afraid of surstromming? haha
@@someoneinthecrowd4313 Obviously! Boring answer: Sweden paid the tax. Norway couldn't afford.
Literally the best channel on CZcams. It’s fascinating, entertaining, original, funny, and educational, literally what more could you ask for? NOTHING!
Im Norwegian
Actually we use the color red, white and blue in our flag because they are the colors of freedom
LOL the Canadian tire money is classic Canadian back-of-the-junk-drawer stuff!
Also... be warned, the ice wine is super sweet! It's really good but you have to take super small sips. I like to put it over vanilla ice cream, or mix a little in with sparkling wine.
I like how Hannah is referred to as "Mrs. Hannah," to let everyone know (again) that she's married (in case anyone didn't see the episode where her an her husband were together). I'm guessing it's a reaction from the previous episode where many people commented how cute she is. (As if she can't be found cute because she's married.)
Norway is founding member of NATO. Sweden and Finland are not.

"It's about a 20 minute walk from here, or five minutes by bicycle"
I'm actually Canadian and I find Keith's impression hilarious.

And Keith is so funny. I love this dorky humor you guys give us. Really makes learning so much more enjoyable!

No one mentioned SKAM from Norway? International impact. Also, Jeg and Eg were inverted when showing examples of Nynorsk and Bokmål. Great videos, you rock, I was waiting the Norway's episode for so long, it was dope.

there are different colors for russ based on what you are studying. there is red for general studies, blue for economic studies, black for vocational studies, green for farming and forestry related studies, and there used to be orange for russ leader/president but i belive it has ben discontinued now.

Hannah and Keith need to do a show together.

8:04 Canadian Tire money is coupons you get with each purchase from Canadian Tire. It is considered stable currency! If you donate them at a bin at the exit (which also has one of those whirly coin ramps to roll coins around and around until they spiral into the center hole), they will use the coupons and the coins to buy hockey equipment for poor kids! But now they put coupons electronically on your card so the printed notes will disappear.
Therapist: Undergroundaboubt isn't real. It can't hurt you.
*UNDERGROUNDABOUBT*:
fun fact: the sámi languages have 200~500 words for snow!
yes, but actually no. Sami language aggregate groups of words in one, it's like saying snowflaotingithewind. So they are not exactly "words"
@@chinchenping
Hey, dude. That's actually not true. We have different words depending on what type of snow it is.
For example snow in general (in northern sámi) is called "muohta", while wet snow found in the spring is called "sievlla" and moist snow is called "njáhcu".
Further, dry snow is called "luotkku", brand new snow is called "vahca", if the snow is really deep it's called "oppas" and snow that has formed grains is called "seaŋaš".
"Cuoŋo" is hard, almost ice-like snow, "Geardni" is snow with a tiny layer of ice.
"Seaŋáš" is porous snow underneath the ice-layer of geardni.
As you probably can tell, none of the words mentioned are compound words.
Edit: The sámi languages actually have quite few compound words compared to for example Norwegian, and aggregation rarely happens with nouns. We have some aggregation in verbs.
@@chinchenping but also induvidual words describing the type of snow, for example if it is wet snow, or if it is snow that is like sugar, and words that describe if the snow is hard, and how hard it is, trust me, i have worked with this many times at school, trying to find words for snow that we use daily and words that arent particularly in use anymore. A lot of it is not aggregate groups of words in one.

One small note on the Sami people, there are in total 4 different sami groups who have their own different language. You have the North Sami, the South Sami, the Lule Sami and the almost extinct Ume Sami(Of which I am a part of). The Ume Sami language has been extinct on the Norwergian side of the boarder for many years thanks to the "Fornorsknigs politikken/Assimilation policy", the most effective Norwegian policy ever implemented. The Sami people were not allowed to speak their language, was forced to learn Norwegian, children taken out of their homes and sent away from their families to attend these schools. Good fun. This eventually stopped, and the Norwegian government have made efforts to make up for these atrocities. There are also efforts being done to bring the language back as there are a handful of people on the swedish side of the boarder that still speak Ume.
Another suggestion: When you animate countries interacting with each other (with the eyeballs) - make them in proportion to one another.
