Cups will only attract even more Cheaters than the already insane cheating epidemic does. It's going to be only closeted wallhackers and a few top pros who win them. Anybody who played a meaningful amount of Diamond and above ranked this season knows what I'm talking about. Lots of aimbotters but most cheaters simply wall hack and try their best to hide it and will never be banned.

That ping spike issue reminds me of the earlier days of apex, as soon as you hit Diamond on console the amount of ping spikes, probably due to an exploit or something, and the amount of ddoss attacks increased significantly lol

Honestly I can do without any new content for several seasons if they were to put that money into fixing the cheating problem. Any content at all is just trash because you cannot play it fairly. Doesn't matter how well made anything is when cheaters can just destroy it by logging on.

I have different issues with this split. I solo queue and usually run 8-12 kills a game in platinum ranked. It’s pretty easy tbh, the issue is whenever I cross into plat 3 I deadass get so much packet loss. Idk if it’s the Elo shift putting me into ddoser lobbies but I deranked 16 times to packet loss and then immediately ranked back up with a massive game.
Battle pass stars at the end of season is wild
Regarding rank yeah it is unplayable. Plat having apex or master player ain't a problem since it does happen from time to time but after the split even getting to plat is impossible now since I see people with aims that can't be real at all and makes me question if this is really gold.
The matchmaking for ranked should just got back to the way it used to be. You get matched up against players in the same tier as the highest rank in your squad. Plats vs plats, diamonds v diamonds, masters/pred vs masters/pred. That would fix the matchmaking instantly

I dont understand why cross platform is required if keyboard and mouse is not an accepted input on console and force console to deal with hackers and people with superior fps and input. If your tired of hackers move to console, dont force console to have to deal with it too.

Dude the ranked is fucked and if you play solo its awfull. Cheaters in every diamond+ lobbies about 10 of them and you get bad teammates aswell. Ranked is just fucked, i only play now for the flatline skin. Waiting for new season hopping its gonna get better. I have solo q to Master from season 10 until now but im not going to get there this season. Its not a fun time anymore. Even season 13 Master but now the cheaters have destroyed this game... facing one dude with 44 kills that is usin aimbot, speedhack and wallhacks not very fun.

Add placement matches that put people in the right rank at the start of the season. Ranked has become player retention game mode. Not ranking as a reward

The day they force me to play with PC players in pubs or ranked is the day I stop playing this game, the matchmaking alone is still horrendous the last thing I need or want is to be forced to play with PC players. PC and console are pretty much 2 different games

The hidden MMR system is on full blast this season for ranked. I would be OK with moving all the players together if we remove the hidden mmr. That is killing the ranks and makes it impossible not really a ranked game mode anymore
They removed mmr in ranked this season. The matchmaking for ranked is based on rp only.

If you want real cross play the only way for it to be fair is remove movement from pc and nurf aim assist for Console. Aim assist won't work for these movement players anyway as it can't keep up.
