this ban wave didn't even take out 5% of cheaters, most of this ban wave have already returned. and the 36 item collection events will still be gamble, thats not changing, normal collections will still allow single purchases like mentioned.

I hope the info about the banwave is correct. It does not seem having done much though. 2/3 games have a cheater in my experience.

I took a few months off from Apex because of the cheater situation. I finally got back on a few hours ago and every match had cheaters in it 🙃
So did the hardcore cheaters get banned or all the wife aimbot wall hackers or kids with zens a stuff still walking around fine. I already know ima log in and get wall hacked and sandbagged. Apex is a fucking joke rn. I can’t even play ranked. Everyone is walling and it’s so obvious they don’t even try to hide it

Here’s what sucks to me about being able to craft the skins for the next event…I don’t want any of them.
I really wanted the Maggie skin for the current event but not going to gamble for it.
This ban- wave happened a month ago (when many of the leaderboard high players were also removed from pred rank)
Since the seasonal half reset there are even more "new" accounts that have extraordinary reflex and are so good at game knowledge that they can prefire before you come around the corner!(Wallhax and aimsnapping)
As long as they don't do this every week like any other E-sports game, there is no point , it's like placing 1 mousetrap in a sewer!
In my opinion the LOBA skin in this upcoming collection event is fire

Permanently if you’re on PC, if you’re on console you get a 2-Month ban.
But PC cheater’s probably just HWID spoof, so they could be back anytime they feel fit.
They probably saw the ban count and went “well this is just excessive we can’t show this it looks terrible”
Eafc did a loyalty rewards and everyone was excited for it and turned out to be $10 for a pack and $25 for the other when we got it lol
Wasn't really loyalty rewards. Everyone got the same "For you" packs 😂 me who's played from early access to February has the same packs as a friend that's played 1 week total
I played another game with a loyalty reward system which gave rewards after reaching a currency spent honestly it was great because it felt like they appreciated you spending money instead of feeling entitled to your money like how apex currently does.

I haven't spend much money on the game but yeah in my opinion I wouldn't mind if they offer something to the playerbase that puts more money in the game, I am broke so I am grateful for all the people that spend money on the game and keep it going...

I’ve played since season 1, I’m finally done with them EA has completely ruined this game from the cheaters to the prices to the bugs to the hackers to it being unplayable even if your good at the game it’s unplayable and honestly overall is a joyless experience at this point you can’t play by yourself if you are with friends everyone’s just frustrated to an extent and it’s just not worth it and seriously the prices for things is out of control 400 dollars for skins in a game ? Like be so for real dude
And I mean no offense by this, this absolutely will have no impact on the cheating I can’t go two games without running into cheaters, they need an overall rework. Banning accs also does nothing cheaters don’t care they will make another acc immediately

If the game wasn't buggy and broken then i wouldn't mind the pay to play but it's so ridiculous that i just wait until i make 1100 coins just to buy in so im essentially just getting a few 100 coins for free every season, if I don't make enough I won't spend 950 to buy in 😂

the ban wave was from over a month ago, not even during this season. EA doesn't give a shit about teaming as long as they're making money.
Of course this upcoming collection event was gonna let people unlock skins for crafting metals, because all collection events have been like that. This last one was them unveiling a new way to sell skins and will let them come out with future thematic events that do not let you. Why do you think they design the thematic events differently in the first place? There is no learning a lesson here they’re just keeping to precedent. Don’t misunderstand their actions, just remember that all thematic events from now on more likely than not will not let you craft a skin ever again. Collection events however, will probably stay the same. You know why they scrapped the Newcastle catalyst etc heirlooms? Because now they can make more thematic events than collection events. Basically; everyone should start hoarding crafting metals and saving them for collection events so you don’t pay a dime for your mains skin. I’m probably never buying anything from a thematic event ever again. I haven’t even bought from thematic events in like 5 seasons or more. They’re not worth it. The only thematic event that was worth it maybe was the one where they made skins based off anime characters. That was the last one I can remember that they let people use crafting metals.
The more i look at these skins the more mid it looks.

This crossover play, how many times have anyone been on team death match and get a near full lobby of pc players. I have had it happen twice. They not that hard to play against.

Yeah. and then during gameplay there are sort of interruptions/lags that last about 1 sec, like wt heck is that? Cheaters non stop. all servers when logging in have packet loss and sometimes i'm playing in tokyo, wiht a 200 ping?
there are ping spikes here and there. I mean, if all they want is people to quit, they can just shut it down...

To play devil’s advocate, there is a mass cheating epidemic in gaming right now, this problem is not just exclusive to apex. There’s a lot of cheating rn on nearly every game.
