No this is blatantly against tos , she was probably banned by an automated bot do not ever charge back something on a game, contact customer service if possible and try and see what can be done if there is no refund on the app

this should a federal offense. for a franchise to treat someone in an unequal or unreasonable manor. so many companys do that RN. prime example is twitch and CZcams and how infrequent their bans are and the favoritism

I had this happen to me; I have 5.5k hours on my main console account alone and when I sent in a detailed message about what happened it was unbanned within hours
I am pretty sure they do that to anyone who disputes a charge, if you did this with Apex coins you didn’t receive (like many have) you will get banned too, not the first time

I paid 96$ for the max amount of apex coins, they were never delivered. I called EA they said call Microsoft. Microsoft said it was EA’a problem.
A 7x apex predator 150k kills with a 5kd and over 9,000 wins, and I will never touch this game again period. Keep the 100$ it’s the principle of thievery.

But why that would be done since technically this is her fault u should never on any game do a refund through ur bank because they could see it as u scamming my friend used to do that on Xbox where he would buy a game then dispute it to keep the game and get his money back
Keep playing but stop paying. Playing means there are still people who love the game but paying means that we are suckers who will let them get away with this all the time.

Well yeah… if you file a chargeback on any service they’ll ban you until it’s settled so you’re not just stealing their money
playstation does this shit too, their customer support is dogshit and you can never get a hold of someone until a month or so later so you just give up and buy your account back.
I have been a lifelong EA games player, they just recently banned my account, and upon asking why it was band that they say they cannot elaborate, but their decision is final, and will no longer contact me regarding the matter. Bottom of the barrel type stuff from the suits at EA

I have screenshots and receipts. They did the same thing to me on the battle pass two seasons ago. They banned my entire EA account for a *chargeback* despite my bank sending me documentation in writing I never authorized a chargeback. I had 3 heirlooms and probably $2000 usd spent on the acccount from season 0 until that point. After multiple reviews by their ToS team they told me to “just make a new account” I literally have receipts of all this including chat logs with their reps

I haven’t been playin apex much in the past 3 weeks and it’s been glorious
same thing happened to be, simply went to steam and accepted the L of 500+
Also be careful when talking in apex, I said to my team “y’all are trash” and I got given a warning lmao
I cussed in game chat and I got suspended for 168 hours , I didn't get a warning and it was my first "offense" had this EA account for 7 years now.

No. When you claim your account has been compromised, they disable it so they can't do more damage. That's how everyone does it.

EA bans anyone who files a chargeback. This is common knowledge sadly. You’d think that this would be illegal to do or something but somehow it’s not
To be fair it could be a way to stop a potential hacker from spending all your money
I work for a bank. There is more to it. She disputed months worth or this is not her first time and she is try to get refunded after receiving the services

This is justified sadly.. I know nobody reads the terms and conditions however it specifically states that a chargeback will result in account termination, I have experienced this myself when I accidentally reported a charge as fraudulent, I lost my card and had some money taken, my bank asked me if any payments I made today were me and I said no forgetting I bought apex coins at 1am, EA banned my account but after explaining the situation I was unbanned. Should've contacted EA about it IMO
I had same issues which I contacted support and nothing was done about it but I was told by a friend to reach out to a friend which I did and he helped me in fixing mine and it's working perfectly fine, I sure he gone help you as well🎉

this was very dumb. I file disputes at work and she should have contacted EA FIRST before filing a dispute. if you do any business with a company and get charged randomly, you need to contact the merchant first. you should only dispute a charge in fraud cases.

happened to me too just go to ea livechat explain and they will unban you within a day and i got an heirloom first 10 packs after being unbanned too
That’s pretty common lol you can’t claim a chargeback through your back you have to go through their customer service if you do that psn for example and go through your bank and do a chargeback you’ll catch a ban from the psn store entirely

Someone hacked my account and used my apex coins, i asked support if they could remove the items they bought and refund the apex coins, but they refused.
Shortly after i encountered a racist/griefer in diamond ranked. I don't have a mic so after 15-20 min of racial slurs and other toxicity i said "shut the f up" in text chat, and got permanently banned.
