I really REALLY hope they buff or rework ash, I love her character and I know they can do more with her, especially since even with her perks she still isn't buffed that much. Her ult is the biggest thing that needs to get reworked with how sensitive it is.
Also project 19 needs to be brought back in my humble opinion
As someone who plays a ton of Ash, all I think she really needs is have her tactical have the same slow/stun effect as a watts fence/arc star instead of the tether.
As for her Ult buff the distance from 63m to 100m and give her 2 charges (or change one of her 1st passive to give you 2 charges). Get rid of the time delay after portaling for using your gun. The fact they made the ult for pushing but punish you for pushing at the same time is redundant. 3rd for the love of all that is holy rework the targeting to actually work correctly. I've lost count on how many times my portal shows the high ground I want, but after casting it goes to a fucking pebble or low ground in front of where I wanted to land is absolutely insane.
@@chaoticfox89 yeah they DEFINITELY need to fix how sensitive her ult is because I have lost so many easy fights because I try to ult to high ground but SOMEHOW I move one muscle and I'm going only a centimeter and getting beamed
The sling buff to ballistic is good for hot droping. You will have attactments already, this is very good for shotguns because you get a bolt
The buffed ult range is also really nice. Teammates will always have it if they’re not halfway across the map lol
Get a mozam in there and drop into a charge tower. Infinite ammo and hammerpoint offdrop while people only have lvl 1 shields. I swear you can kill almost all of them.

I think it's highly beneficial to use for weapons with terrible iron sights, naked spitfire VS spitfire with barrel, stock and 1X optics is so much difference

Ballistic’s ult range got a buff to 90 meters! This is actually huge for his kit

As an Ash main, don’t play this legend. Just wait for the rework.
I hope she never gets a rework, I will never be able to use her just like rev due to getting to popular.
Ash kit is good but she needs buffs. Her ultimate really needs to be able to placed in the air and not just on the ground.
Her passive is great but it can be rendered useless in alot of cases. Her tactical is just fine and doesnt need any changes imo.

I think a speed boost on snare would be a great perk for her both offensive/defensive. Not sure how to fit that into her perks tho

I think ballistic is underrated, tbh. Another good use for his ult is when you or your team is low on ammo. It gives everyone unlimited ammo - and it’s saved my life in an early-ish fight more than once
As a ballistic main I use ult to support my team after respawning them if there's a fight but most of them don't know they get infinite ammo and panic over nothing
Ash rework idea:
- Double snares by default with added damage as an upgrade
- Quieter ultimate with 2 new upgrade options: 50% further distance or your portal only ports you and no one else.

I’ve been wanting to expand into the assault legends but I’ve been having a hard time picking between two, so this was very informative perspectively, thank you for doing this.
Although he said Ash is the weakest legend in the game, I've actually been playing her a lot in ranked. I'm not sure why, but it's so satisfying to snag a full team when the ring is closing and they die to the ring because they decided to take a fight at the edge of zone lol I won one game like that this season, and it was so so satisfying. I do think her port and her passive could be better, but I love her snare.
On another note, will you be doing a master class video for each class? If so, I can't wait to see the one on support and defense lol it's greatly needed haha

Most ppl don't use ballistics tactical properly
If an enemy is behind a cover and you have a lock on your tactical then shoot it in such a way that the enemy is visible to the bullet after certain travel... Doing that you'll create a path for your tactical to hit the enemy.
So just shoot upwards and forward after the lock on until you get a good understanding of how it works
only watched the ash section for now, but you di mention her excelling in a 'secondary fragger' position- would love to see a video from you breaking down roles you can take in the game especially in a way where youre communicating and synergizing with a team, since i feel like i see a lot of apex content creators say stuff like primary fragger, support, backline, how you can break down range among a team, etc, but ive never seen anybody explain what that all means which makes it all kind of hard tips to follow as somebody whose only other pvp fps was overwatch 1 which didnt use that type of terminology and the teamwork of which felt very different to the way teamwork works in apex
I have a tip for all fuse mains when you see a drop ship or a evac tower use your ult it spreads the fire around the entire area and you get way more free scans

One thing for Ballistic's sling passive: snipers get a 2x optic instead of a 1x dot. It may not be good to use later on when attachments are easier to come by, but running a sling sniper off drop/early midgame might be useful.

What you said about ballistic, when you're locking on to a target you want to be flicking wide before you release your tac button, so the bullet can hit enemies from different angles, that way it's more likely to directly hit them instead of hitting cover

Honestly, I think Fuse is a ton of fun and I think could work great in certain comps. Like with a Horizon to keep sucking them back into the flames of the Motherload and flinging bunches of arc stars. Add a Wattson for genning arc stars on top of that, though you do have to be more careful with both of the other ults and abilities at that point. Maybe Caustic instead to wombo up with gas nade instead. Also, Fuse with a rampage because of the extra thermies is super nice too
Fuse or Maggie plus a horizon is god year, you can win every fight🔥🔥🔥
A great Fuse use is to force the other team to use all their heals before you really engage in a fight. If a team is behind cover or in a small building, cluster the crap out of it from a distance and make them waste heals
For Fuse if you're getting chased in a building you can turn around and ult for area denial
As an ash main i think shes better than some people think. i use her passive to time 3rd parties better when we see only 1 deathbox drop the q is great defensively or catching people in a open area. She just doesnt have the best floor i feel for people just to go and play her and win she takes some time to get her strats down. She def not the best tho
I tried playing Ash in a ranked match the other day ... She is fun ... I stumbled upon ult accel several times so I had my ult ready and was able to escape or reposition myself in fights... Did some 2k damage imo she's not a bad pick

There is one Bangalore tip I have never seen in a video... If you are running from an enemy.
If you throw your ultimate at your feet, you will not get hit by the bombs, but anybody chasing you will.😮😮😮
My fav use for ashs ult is when a teammate gets downed, jumping on them and getting us FAR away, and then drop the tactical in case they go through it and just blast em

When I get hit by a ballistic tactical I just shoot a wall until the effect is gone. And to regain my shield I pop a batt or have my conduit use her Q
Bro just completely missed Ash’s best utility. I hadn’t even thought of it until watching international scrims- Ash is the new horizon. Stacking nades on an Ash tactical hit has gotten me so many initial knocks. The big snare nade combo is free cracks

Not gonna lie i consider it a rite of passage for new Fuses to off themselves at least once with their kit
I still think ash is going to be meta at some point when people realize how little counterplay her tac has. As the devs who play tested her put it "she basically has a horizon ultimate as her tactical." Which is why she is so weak currently because she was supposedly absurdly broken in development.
As a 13000k ash main play her aggressive and watch the map for 3rd party’s best way to play her and her tac is op can stick 3 players and one tac. Stop listening to these people who don’t even know how to use her kit ash is b tier for a reason
I hope they dont rework Ash. I love all of her abilities. I think she just really needs some small buffs. Like letting you use the snare while shooting and making her portal go just a little bit further

Pro tip for Bangalore that ive never heard anyone say.
Her ultimate is a great tool to escape/get chasers off your tail. Throw her ult in front of you and run along the bombs. The bombs will blow up behind you when you have passed them and if they are chasing you, either they stop and wait out the ult, therefor you can get away, or they will get caught in the explosions, getting slowed, also causing you to escape...
Just watch out for 3rd parties.

As an ash main I must say, if you think she’s bad you either can learn how to play her or shut up about her bc she’s a solid legend. She’s great for getting your team out of bad situations (like if you’re caught between 2 teams) and she’s good for running away and getting chasers off your tail. And she’s also really good for pushing into fights and catching players off guard. I think her tactical could use a slight buff and her ultimate could be made slightly more accurate but she’s still a very solid legend you just have to know how to play her.

I don't know how you guys still play this game, I played all last split and Jesus it's historically bad. I want to play so bad but damn. No new weapon, what like 2 new legends the past 2 years? It's so stale and they aren't doing anything. They think 1 legend rework is enough for 3 months. The game is shit and its going to be shut down at this trajectory by 2026
