Progression of this beautiful Carpinus orientalis this season was great. In the end of this video there is a before and after which shows clearly the development in ramification, this past season. Thank you for your time!

Thank you! I really appreciate your comment!
it's always a treat to watch one of your videos. The bonsai projects, the dedication, the shots and the atmosphere are really great. In my opinion one of the best bonsai channels. it is appreciated. keep up the great work.
Ps: nice Carpinus
Thank you David! Beautiful comment! Have a great night!
Very nice work, thanks for showing it.
In spring I will also start designing my carpinus orientals.
It's the depths of winter here in central Switzerland today, we've had about 50 cm of snow in the last 24 hours, so it's not the best bonsai time.
Greetings Pablo
Yeah, I saw the snow Pablo. Kinda envy that. Thank you for your comment! I wish you all the best with your Carpinus! Spring will be important for this tree as well!
Great job my friend,i appreciated as always your technique. Have a nice weekend!👍👍👍

Thank you Mas! Deciduous have their own slow pace, git to enjoy that! Have a great day!
Love the format of these videos showing the progression over a year, that's a really great piece of material and as always fantastic editing!💚
Thank you Wesley! I was always interested in these progression through time videos and that is what I will try to do as my trees get older. Have a great Sunday!
Cool tree my man. Great wiring. Cheers from Ojai California
Thank you Jason! I appreciate it!
Beautiful!
Thank you! Cheers!
Amazing progress over the year, thank you for sharing with us.
You're welcome Andrew! It's useful to see how trees respond to techniques.
Just found you and love your style. Thank you for more options.
I appreciate it a lot Debbie! Cheers!
thx 4 sharing, very nice video, i guess, big cut will stay very present unless it goes in field for a couple of years, big cuts i do in autom an cut them clean in sommer, when calus is active, i dont use paste but alu tape (from car spare part shop, in former times japanes also used some paraphine tape on big cuts... u can see in old magazines) another point is... 4 this natural looking/grown tree i wouldnt use wire and just go by cuting... love your enjoing videos, thx 4 sharing again.
Thank you for the info mate! Yes I will gradually back down from wiring. I wrote that in the subtitles, in 2 years 80% of styling will be with just pruning. I'm expecting the big cut to be visible for the next decade.... Cheers!
This is turning into a very interesting tree.
Μπράβο παλικάρι μου, very good work ✅
And, as always, your filming and editing is absolutely superb 👌
Thank you Alex! A nice pot will elevate this tree! Have a great night!
Great Work!
Grazie mate!
Saludos y muchas bendiciones 🙋👍🌲🌲🌲👌🙂
Thank you Fran! Have a great Sunday!
I have a tree that looks awfully similar to this and this video is great inspiration!!
Έλα George! Prepare for wb hunting!
Outrageous growthrate for a potted tree !!!
You are doing great!
What is the origin of that one? Yamadori / nursery ....?
If you don`t know him already you should have a look
at Mr. Sadev`s orientalis.
Cheers !
Thank you mate! Of course I know Sadev's meticulous styling! One of the best in creating aesthetic trees out there... This was a yamadori from my garden. Self seeded, I don't know how many years ago. The impressive thing is that after I dug it out, a root that I must have missed, sprouted back. Did not expected that from a hornbeam! Cheers!
Lovely 😊
Thank you John! Have a great weekend!
Nice job! Parekaló!
Efxaristo mate! Have a great night!
bel lavoro👌
Thank you Ronald!
Será un Carpe muy original. Me gusta mucho la especie, remifica bien y es de rápido crecimiento.
Salud.
Thank you Fabian! Yes, it's becoming a favourite deciduous species of mine!

👍👌
Is there a reason you left the lower branches in the background on the big trunk?
Great video as always 👍
It's amazing how sharp your eye is! Yes, yes there is, even though I did not mentioned it in the video. In the back of the tree I have a bit of inverse taper. There is lots of swelling from buds being created. So I left some branches to help thicken some parts. Cheers!
Another really useful video, thank you for sharing. Can I ask if the cutters you're using at 0:36 are branded ones please? They seem to cut really well.
You're welcome Mike! I really appreciate that you find this video useful! No, not branded cutters or any other tools. Just relatively new... Cheers!
Your dog be like "I need more time than your bonsai" 😁
Ha ha exactly! And she always finds the worst times to express that!
@@ArkefthosBonsai he he. She is lovely tough 🥰.
設計完造型更美囉。
Thank you!

Thank you Diego! Cheers!
