When weeds can be easily pulled from the soil, that soil is friable. Congratulations! I was taught that the first goal of every gardener is to improve the soil because then the soil would grow strong and healthy plants.
Thanks! ❤That's my goal. It's fun to see the hard work pay off!
What a truly beautiful video. It has been wonderful watching your garden grow in your new season of life. Blessings to you and thank you for creating and sharing this.
I love what you are doing! Makes my heart happy seeing your gardens
So gorgeous! Btw did you see how Sunflower Steve plants his peony roots? Just mow the grass low and use a pressure washer to make a square. It removes the grass and then he plunges the root 1 to 2 inches below. The ground is saturated and no need to water again throughout the Fall and winter and then you can leave the surrounding grass to grow undisturbed.
So much for another great video my earphone always like a good card video
Beautiful garden and video. Thank you for taking us along.
Your garden looks so beautiful in a year. Love what you and your husband have done in a short period of time.
What a beautiful space!! Really, you've done a lot in one year. Congratulations on all of your accomplishments. Thank you for sharing:)
Thank you for sharing an update!
Bravo 👏🏼 lots of hard work there! Love watching along as it expands! You will have to share pics of your bouquets that you sell!
Thank you so much for showing your garden layout! I really appreciate it!
love your new garden - it's very tidy, plants look very healthy and well planned. thanks for sharing with us how your new garden is taking shape.
Your videos are always refreshingly full of lovely content! I like the idea of short, mentally manageable rows. The weeds in summer heat overwhelm me and tackling small areas makes me feel more accomplished 😊. Those roses are beautiful!!
Your garden is so lovely. Thank you for the beautiful and relaxing video. I always look forward to your new videos. I saw that in one of your arrangements you had southern charm verbascum. Do you have any suggestions regarding harvesting time and using in arrangements? This is my first year growing and I want to love her but I struggled with vase life and wimpy stems with petals falling off.
So good to see your new garden growing so well, soil looks good, wonderful plans. Always enjoy hearing from your channel.😊
Both your gardens are looking sooooo beautiful ❤
Used to live a few miles from Columbus Park of the Roses! I put in a mini park. Wish i had better air flow to minimize black spot. Location is soo important! Great job on the new garden!
You are a wonder!!
Love your gardens
Thank you, Aunt Erma!❤😊
So pretty ❤
Thank you so much for sh
Lovely gardens! I have enjoyed watching you and your sister do wonderful things with flowers. I would also like to have a rose garden so I will be keeping an eye out for what you do. Beautiful arrangements!😊
Your new garden is so beautiful. And so tidy! Can you maybe do a video/email about how you grow eucalyptus as a perennial in a cooler zone? I was under the impression that you couldn't do that in any zone cooler than 8. Thanks!
Thanks! We had a mild winter last year, so a lot of my eucalyptus made it through the winter. It did have a light covering of leaves, but other than that, it survived on its own. It does freeze out occasionally, so I just start new plants every year as insurance. 😊
Congratulations! You've accomplished so much in one year!!! ❤
Can you pls explain what type of plastic you used to winterkill the grass and weeds. Was it landscape fabric or just tarp?
From where did you purchase your drip irrigation system. That's definitely at the top of my "next garden purchase" list!
Everything looks wonderful. Your soil is coming along GREAT. Grass clipping can do so much for soil composition, and also for moisture with plants. This is just beautiful, and only the 2nd yr(?) WOW....I would love to have a set up like yours....Can you come do mine? LOL
That sounds tempting, but one garden is probably all I can manage right now. 😄🤪

Wondering if you purchase you low tunnel hoops or if you make them?
Is there a trick to get roses to last in the vase ? I have a bunch of beautiful rose bushes , but they never seem to last long in the vase when I pick them 😭
Lovely
