After CDC account opening process completed through RDA, for parking longer , investor account is required IN CDC or not. As a RDA holder can make it.

Sir i am using AHL brokerage fir by using RDA. I am facing difficulties to monitor stock buying historical price. example I bought stock rs 92, but now it shows buy price 96. although I bought one time. how to get or maintain historical prices, please guide
Hello, I know what problem you are facing. You have 2 options.
1 - Make portfolio on websites like sarmaya (free of cost) - it will let you track the share prices as well as your bonus / dividends.
2 - The way I do it - is to export (periodic trade detail) from AHL app every 2-3 months and compile with an excel sheet. Please note that the export you want to make is in word document as it will be much easier to manage in excel.

I dont recommend equity based funds right now if you already have some experience with stocks. If not, then you can slowly and gradually accumulating these equity based funds as they are having low NAVs historically right now.
CDC Deducting Transaction Fee for each transaction of share from Broker to CDC Account and I think there are annual charges for account maintenance also. This might be the reason of holding 5,000 by CDC.
Yes there are annual charges around 400 .. just confirmed from AKD securities

Aoa brother. Currently there is an issue ongoing for cdcaccess a/c registration. As at the time of registration you are required to enter both ( mail & Cell ) otp. But the cell phones are not receiving otp because of that registrations are stuck. Hope cdc looks into that.
I opened the account 2 weeks back - no issues faced.
Are you opening through RDA? as for RDA they wont ask for cell phone number for OTP.

Basically I have 2 questions, first no is
(1) How much time required for CDC account through RDA ? I read on CDC website which is 3 working days but in mine case more then 1 month but still donât have confirmation email.
I have applied through my HBL and Meezan RDA but still no reply, kindly let me know what is your experience in CDC account opening process?
(2) As you explained in this video if we open our CDC account through RDA then we donât need to pay tex returns. I want to know if Iâm not text filer then how much tex will deduct from my dividends? I mean it will be 15% as per filer or 30% as per non filer ? Let me clear again Iâm non filer and living in Saudi Arabia.

1 - Should be 1-2 days. Just send a followup email to both the bank and CDC. They respond quickly.

1. I have USD RDA, will my dividends, capital gain or trading sell proceeds will be credited to my USD account? if yes then how much time it may take after stock sell to be available in my bank account further will CDC/Bank use interbank exchange rate and will FBR charge for any exchange income?
2. Broker, which broker web surface with latest tools, App without lag or hassle and WhatsApp response time is good/caring.

1- You can not use USD RDA account for stock trading. I'd recommend opening a second RDA account in PKR for that purpose.

RDA holders dont have to declare as filers IF they dont have any Pakistan source income. However, it does not mean they dont have to pay any taxes.
The tax rates for PSX would be the same as anyone who is filer for RDA holder who is expat.

Two queries regarding RDA & RDA PSX
1- you mentioned that if we are Tax filers in Pak and want to remain filers for some other reasons, we dont need to file / mention / show our RDA account transactions and investments in PSX etc done through RDA account, is it still the same ? Or RDA investments & assets should be declared in Tax returns also?
2- Did you find any other problems practically when investing in PSX through RDA over this period of time or it is more comfortable compared to investing through regular PSX account?

1 - If overseas, you do not have to declare any activity within RDA.
2 - I am perfectly fine with RDA / PSX. Your broker should be a good one though.

I want to open RDA in HBL. After opening account from UK, I go to Pakistan for 2 or 3 months visit can I use this RDA in Pakistan for taking money out or depositing money while being in Pakistan?
You can not deposit money from Pakistan, it should be remittance. However, you can easily withdraw money while being in Pakistan. They will also give you debit card which you can use in ATMs and shops.

When cdc start showing your holdings after activation? nothing showing in my portfolio but im holding some stocks in my brokers app, im rda user. They been sending me my daily transactions via email. Also my broker doing the same thing, but no value in the portfolio.

Yes, they do for RDA only if you apply broker account from RDA

Just to confirm, once the money goes out from the RDA into brokerage house, any amount being retrieved back into the RDA will go through a potential exchange loss, correct?
If itâs in PKR, no exchange loss is faced. Only when you repatriate back - you will get the prevailing interbank rates

No, you will still have to pay the taxes
So the real benefit is that if an RDA account is used it will allow me to repatriate the amount easily, no benefit on the tax side? But in the video you mentioned that using RDA for stocks you don't need to worry about tax filing. Please clarify. Thanks
@@tariqghaffar6298 yes - u donât have to worry about tax filing⌠which is simple paper work and to me itâs a hassle. But the tax will be deducted at source anyways.

I have contacted AKD for account opening but they say their requirement is 100K to open account. Is that true and what about 5000 requirement. Please clarify.

I believe you are talking about broker amount opening from RDA - if that's the case, 5000 is being withheld by the CDC for future fees etc.
Anything over and above that will reflect on the broker system. However, a broker can impose certain lower threshold for the account to start operating like for AHL I know they ask for 25k PKR for the non - RDA account.
For the new broker account I opened through RDA, I have chosen Next Capital who apparently does not have any restrictions like that and I have started trading with 20K PKR in the account.
Arif Habib is good actually. Not sure if you are referring to MCB Arif Habib for mutual funds?

Yes I was asking about Arif Habib Brokerage and not Mutual funds as I already have iSave mutual funds account in which I am depositing small amount on monthly basis..
If Next Capital is a trusted name and they offer lower limit then I can start with them. Please advise best brokerage who allow less than 50k limit on account opening...

@@nasir4701 I donât find next capitalâs web app as good as Arif Habib, but itâs not a showstopper. For me, the next capital so far is alright. You can start as low as 20k with 5k into deposit for CDC.
