  • If you like lychees / litchis like I do, you too can easily grow healthy lychee seedlings like these.
Lychees are delicious fruits and they have large shiny seeds.
In this detailed video I explain the best method I found to grow lychees / litchis from seed. I cover how to properly care for and sprout your seed, where to place your seedlings and plants, how often to water your lychee / litchi plants, and how often to repot your saplings. I also mention whether your lychee / litchi trees grown from seed will give fruit.
I hope you too will try growing lychees / litchis from seed. It's free, relatively easy, and they make beautiful plants.
Visit my channel at / agoodlife for more videos on plant care and propagation.
Happy planting, and thanks for watching!

Thanks Robert Stoker :) I'm in northern Europe myself. You can grow it indoors like me and maybe even keep it dwarf in a pot by pruning and training (otherwise it may eventually need its own room!)

Looking at a lot of videos. Yours i find more to my liking. Complete with enting that you can plant them in bigger pots every year or just in a bigger pot from the start. It helps a lot.

@AGoodLife jip, we have house plants on our counter in the kitchen. I stick a few seeds in there, maybe a week ago, and already noticed 2 coming up. One is already 5 cm tall. I was surprised. Stick about 2 in there yesterday again. Will leave it alone till some leaves develop, and then hold my breath and plant them out. I didn't do any prep on in papercloth 1st. If God intens for things to go in the ground, then in my mind, so it small be. It is a long wait for fruit, but just how pretty the tree becomes is rewarding by itself. Thanks again. Keep up with the videos.

@@marinaharmon5775 That's great! I'm glad you put them in soil. These other steps we take and the prep work usually leads to better results (meaning more seeds will germinate and sprout compared to just putting them in soil) and that's why we do them. But of course just putting them in soil is always the basic method for seeds, that's what happens in nature, and it will work! Good luck with your seedlings. Take care

I heard trees don’t like to put into a pot that’s too big so you may have to constantly uppot it.
