Go to an empty parking lot and practice panic stops. Along with countersteering, trail braking, and counter-leaning.
Every one of the 'accidents' were avoidable.
Most accidents are avoidable, if you frame your mind that people who drive cars are 90% blind. That way you’re already ready to use evasive maneuvers
most of these accidents don't even involve cars and are 100% the bikers' fault, people need to use their brain regardless of ther vehicle of choice

It’s amazing how many riders don’t understand the concept of counter steering and straighten out a corner.
1:57 this is why you don't pull over in a CURVE. Get to a straight section of road to pull over.
They were checking on a buddy that just went Down at the curve. Better choice to send somone back up the curve to signal accident ahead.

Car driver was out of lone but folks get pissed when you do illegal stuff right in front of them.
In most states in certain situations, it is legal for a motorcycle to pass on a double yellow line.

A bunch of Noobs with a 'Target Fixation' problem, and no experience with 'Counter Steer' or 'Trail Braking' skills.
And, riding faster than their experience allows.
Look up the proper riding techniques and learn them, then Practice, practice, practice. 😢

I've been riding for 57 years.
I used to race moto-x. I've ridden almost every bike out there. I have a Triumph Rocket III with 260hp. & 190ft/lbs. of torque. Highly customized & highly modified.
Countersteering is a technique over and above the normal physics of a turning a motorcycle.
Ask a professional, oh, wait a minute, I'm a professional.

I saw that episode too, and while it’s technically correct, Ryan specifically states that if the bike isn’t turning enough, “countersteer harder.” I call it mindful motorcycling. We need to be mindful of the process, even if, and especially if we have years of experience, because it can catch us out otherwise.
And you said what I was going to say about slowing down and not riding above skill level. Taking a corner too fast can go really badly even without using target fixation as an excuse.
@@AGRIV8TD1963 Please do explain the "normal physics" of turning a motorcycle or at least point me to a CZcams video where I can learn about it. I love to learn and every day you learn something new is a good day. The only method I've ever heard of and used, intuitively, is counter steering.

When you combine Trail Braking with emergency countersteering, it in itself is variant of the simple countersteer. Watch any racer hit a turn hard, he throws his leg out, slides up on the tank, hard on the brakes. At the same time, look where you want to go, little rear Braking if any, steer in the opposite direction of intended turn, then lean heavily into the turn.
All about combining the techniques to avoid an obstacle or get through a turn that's been hit too hard.
When you think about it, motorbiking isn’t dangerous, it’s the idiots on the road that ruin it for everyone
