No the hose does not need to be longer, She needs to be facing the right direction so she needs as little of the hose to fill her tank as possible.
For those that don't know, your gas (or diesel) gauge has a useful tip embedded in it. The Pump symbol in the gauge has an arrow. That arrow tells you what side of the vehicle your tank access is on. Most of the time it is on the driver side but always check if unsure BEFORE you pull up to fuel pumps.

Most places now have extra long hoses so you go on either side of the pump. Duh
I dont get this in any way why does it mater anyway here in europa just make sure the feul u need is add the pump ure add thats all there aint no right or wrong side here whit that sow yeah i dont get it
Lots of gas stations in the US now have pumps that reach so it doesn't matter which way you pull in.

2:35 FAR too fast for the road condition, especially with cold tyres, and especially in a residential neighbourhood.
LOTS of accidents happen in the last mile, people people tend to be less viginalt in known places, which was the case for the rider as well as the driver.
And if he'd died, the fact the car moved way too suddenly and didn't seem to indicate wouldn't have brought him back to life, would it?

@@treesloll i did not say it cannot reach, I said why to do drag the hose all over the car and around if you can simply park the car correctly in the first place. Never in my life I put my gas tank cap to the wrong side.
@@treesloll She's parked pretty close, I think the issue is just she didn't have the strength to pull it out farther to get it unstuck. You can see it has more give when the guy grabs it for her.

yea for the guy that took the wrong lane and ended up on the wrong side of the road, i can see why. confusion + signage that from a distance looks similar at first glance can equate to bad accidents. its still on him but im just saying i can understand his position and see why after watching that clip.
hopefully the other driver was also just as chill about the entire ordeal. shit happens, and mistakes happen. to suggest you need to be perfect on the road, is frankly impossible.

horrible excuse.
mistakes happen but there are different levels of mistakes. there's small ones like forgetting your indicator, which can happen, and then there's life or death mistakes like entering the wrong lane. that is a big fuck-up. not a small mistake.
if you can't read bright ass red signs, get glasses or don't drive.
not only did he almost kill himself, he also fucked up an S13.. the front end of that alone probably costs double what the bike did and is incredibly difficult to repair. his fuck-up cost someone else something that was probably insanely valuable to them.

Lane splitting scares me so much when motorcyclists do it. It's illegal in my state, and I was in traffic on 75, going about 30mph, and one came between my big horn Ram and a Semi flying. Almost took my side mirror off.
You got to wonder this vids with non-street legal bikes getting into accidents, how much legal trouble did the bikers get into?

After about 56 years of riding bikes, I just sold my last two bikes with no acquired broken bones or scars. As usual, most of the "incidents" here are due to fast speeds, or lack of attention to conditions,
The hose on the fuel pump doesn't need to be longer, the driver needs to be smarter with how they park at the pump to fuel up.

Dear potatoes, do not add lean angle and throttle at the same time. Kind of a simple concept to understand a lot of you don't.
It's frustrating when the group of bikes hits the magic point where each additional machine lowers the collective IQ by 50 points. I NEVER ride in large groups or with people I don't know.
Why do you blur when you can see surgeries and live pumping heart that isn't blurred?
It's sad that people still don't remember what side your gas nozzle is on, and it's even more sad that gas stations make the Hoses longer for those idiots

I'd say that and adding throttle AND (very briefly) lean angle.
That was my crash. It was stupid to ride this fast in those conditions, tires were also cold, and I was too quick on the throttle (should've opened it closer to the exit)
@@MotoSquidYT Never forget that if you're under your max torque RPM, simply keeping enough throttle to accelerate is equivalent to adding throttle, since torque rises with the RPM until that limit ;)

I always wonder how Americans who obviously have no riding skills end up on those bikes, and think they don't need to wear protective gear.
The same way they get a school shooting per day: lessons from other countries don't apply, because they dont have MUH FREEDUMZ.
In the state I live in you have to take 5 hours of online training and 10 hours of riding a 200cc motorcycle around a parking lot. That qualifies you to an unrestricted license and you can then ride any size motorcycle on the public streets and highways.

@@CyberChrist When you complete the course that is considered the road test. You take the certificate to the RMV pay them and they hand you a license. You are then a fully licensed motorcycle operator.
