Is it just me or does Zbrush 2022 look like its a real step up?

Changing the "Fit Resolution Gate" to Horizontal in Maya's camera Film Back section and having the "Sensor Size" set as Horizontal in ZBrush as well seems to work well for me when exporting Maya's camera with FBX. The problem I had before was that the default Resolution Gate in Maya is set to "Fill" instead of Horizontal and when importing the FBX into ZBrush it looked incorrect.

Is there a way to adjust the picture size and rotation in ZBrush?

I'm still trying to get geometry and cameras exported from BLENDER as an FBX and imported into ZBrush.... it never, ever works correctly. If anyone knows how to do this successfully I would sure like to know.

Im trying to load my images in but the load image option isn't there, it just has the cameras I brought in. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I did the same thing as you, but the images in zbrush are bigger than the model, they dont fit.
Is there anything I can do to fix this issues?
    Thank you

@@amineroula Same. Everything is aligned in Maya, but in zBrush the imagePlanes are too big.

@@philipfuchs777 i tried and tried but with no success, zbrush doesn’t give you a lot of options too. If you found the solution please, tell me here.

Ok. I managed to get a camera to zBrush that worked. The Film Back - > Camera Aperture needs to be square (1:1) and Imageplane Placement - > Size also needs to be square (1:1).. then it fits in zBrush for me. Will keep digging.

Can you use the image plane to transfer textures with spotlight? In some cases when I've used Reality Capture I'm not 100% happy with how the program has projected my textures. Maybe I could manually fix it with zbrush?

My model seems to be off a bit in position, or the images are consistently off or scaled. Tried exporting direct from Metashape to Zbrush, and also Metashape to Maya to Zbrush, was there an extra step you had to do @Michael Pavlovich ?

Having an issue with the texture map orientation in zbrush. its fine in blender, and flip vertical doesn't work. New texture from UV shows issues. any idea what's screwing up the UV/texture map? everything else works as expected
