- here's a 5/4 derivative version of the famous J. S. Bach Prelude (BWV 999) - mainly for fun. The original piece for lute (in C Minor) was written around 1720. This arrangement is by Estrem.

That is very creative. I like it.
Thank you! Cheers!
Wow, that sounds Surprisingly modern.
..must be the Brubeck/Desmond influence. I was expecting some hate mail from Bach purists, but so far it's been favorable
very fun! Thanks for sharing :)
Glad you enjoyed it
Dan, this is I genius! I didn’t think you could get better. I admit I was wrong!
Ed - that means a lot coming from an accomplished musician as yourself.

Masterfully played, Daniel. Bravo. It has an air of John Williams / Sky about it (pun intended)
Glad you like it
Very cool, very fun. 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Very nice Dan. Not a piece I was familiar with.
Thank you.
Ken - Thanks for listening
Different but nice, thanks for sharing
Thank you! Cheers!
Good Morning Daniel,
What a cracking piece! I am certain that could be expanded upon to make a good number for Jazz ensemble. How about ringing around the other Dans to see if they are up for it? I sure Bass Dan could lay down a track and Keyboard Dan could do some fills.
That brightened up an otherwise very damp day. Alfie the Labrador and I got soaked through on our morning walk and I have been doing some housework to help out my patient who is being very patient!
Off to stand around in some more rain as No. 2 son and I will be watching a game at my Rugby club. I only watch now as too old and broken to play!
Well done for posting this one.
Keep Safe and Keep Playing

Maybe I'll sound the alarm and summon the bandmates, some other day.
Good to hear you are helping out your patient with the hoovering and dish washing.

It's an easy lookup if you'd like to hear the original

Wonder if Brubeck heard this.
one can only speculate regarding an afterlife
