That’s something I notice too, all the negativity and not just in the news. On social media sites, far too many tearing apart and disrespecting others - - just because they can. Whatever happened to the ‘Golden Rule’ - - do onto others the way that you would want to be treated. There used to be more comedies and light hearted entertainment, but now it’s doomsday programs and those terrible reality shows.
Exactly. I'm only 41 years old and when I was growing up couple of ways of finding out what was going on in the world. You had to either watch the news or read the newspaper and once you got done you had to wait till the next day to hear more stuff. Nowadays you wake up and your bombarded from the time you get up to the time you go to bed with negative media.

She’s so right. Our brains don’t know the difference between perceived threat and actual threat, and when we’re bombarded with being able to see everything going on at any given moment we put ourselves through trauma and a constant state of fight or flight.

For many people, watching the news and reading twitter can be unhealthy especially if it’s very often. We could be carefree and live without fear and anxiety. It was a very different world before the internet. The young people today are exposed to all kinds of trauma from birth. Jabbing babies as soon as they leave the womb. The news cycles push fear and anxiety because when people are afraid they be manipulated. She didn’t have to say whether to info was good or bad. It’s an overload of info. And lets keep it a buck, 99 % of what you hear when you turn on the news is tragic.

I just try my best to take care of my little corner of the world and do the right thing. Integrity and love are the words I live by.

Imagine not watching the news when covid hit and one day walking out of your house and everyone has masks on. Or going to the grocery store and seeing eggs are now 8 dollars for a dozen 1/2 and you have no clue why. So many unprecedented things are happening these days that you do need to know the news! And, nobody talks about doing so. Nobody says that regardless of circumstance, in every moment, each one has the freedom to CHOOSE Heaven, or hell. Moment to moment, we have the freedom to CHOOSE to extend Love - the good, the holy, and the beautiful- or not. If they SEE it, see one forgiving an offense and uplifting the offender, something within them stirs and they give permission to themselves to let others see the Love they are.
We don’t know what all we don’t know, but seeing one be appreciative, thoughtful, kindhearted, forgiving, courageous, and bold about it causes a “remembrance” and they start to dare to extend Love themself. Then, the Game Changes and they can’t go back!
So, give thanks for your own awareness, and be the example. It won’t be for naught! I am sooo glad to have you here on Earth in this space and time!!! Bless you!!
