    Another great vide man. I see you've copied my launch technique (corkscrew into the ground) as well 🙂

    Noice.
    Would be nice to see how you`ve laid out your hardware in the fuselage.

    It almost ended badly when passing under the barrier ! The images are very beautiful and the steering is still excellent.

    1408 3600kv is definitely the sweet spot. I switch to the same size/ kv. I cooked that weak 1406 2600kv stock motor

    That must be your truck you keep flying over. I guarentee for me if i was to fly that low and fast over my ride there would be a dent in the door in one out of three passes. Awesome vid bro

      Open the windows...then you have a chance of still missing the truck.

    My butthole puckered on that intro holy smokes. I've only been flying planes a month and I love the dart 250. I swapped the stock motor for xing 2005 2450kv with 5 in prop and I'm still getting around ten minutes. Mine is way too shifty to fly unstabilized for my skill. Got the gyro dialed in but I still don't know where I like my rates and expo. Can't wait till I can fly like you

    I love this plane.. I upgraded my motor too (Brothers 1407 2800kv 5x5 prop on 3s)... Would like to see how you setup your electronics (DJI setup...). I have a Caddx Vista waiting for a home... Great video...

    Any issues with Hand Launching when using Inav?

  • @PierreHa
    @PierreHa Před 2 lety +1

    In your twin motor setup we can see your props were reversed. That' certainly why you hadn't a lot of power with this configuration... Cheers

    • @NotamedClosed
      @NotamedClosed  Před 2 lety

      Lol. That was just an early picture. Props were on right or it wouldn’t have flown at all. Those were little 2.5” props as well and I ran 3” props for the flight.

    Nice gap shooting tunnel runs.
    Agree, the Go2/Peanut is over stabilized. Gyroflow sounds like better option. You might even try using FC gyro data from blackbox (if available), to see how results compare.
    The colors in this video are great. You using ND filter? Low light and fresh snow can make for tricky recording.

    Hi man
    Do you like to share your Inav 4.0 setting?

  • @marcbabulenko8336
    @marcbabulenko8336 Před 2 lety

    Very nice setup and flight! Would you mind sharing your config? I have the dart250 as well with inav 4.1. It flies good in acro after autotune but wobbles terribly in angle.

  • @brubakerjm
    @brubakerjm Před 2 lety +1

    Any chance you could share that .STL for the twin motor? I've been trying to kludge one together (out of several different pre-existing STLs) in Tinkercad for weeks and I'm terrible at it. There is a twin Nano Goblin mount which I've printed for my next NG build. The designer of that recommends 1408 3600kv motors on 4S. How many cells did you run the 1404s on?

    • @NotamedClosed
      @NotamedClosed  Před 2 lety

      2S. Probably would have done much better on 3s, but those little motors struggle on 4S. 1408 on 3S or even 2S would be much better.

      @brubakerjm Před 2 lety

      @@NotamedClosed Thanks so much for sharing that. Yes, 1408s on 4S sounded too hot to me as well. Then I saw in his videos his twin NG is running 100mph at 27A (4S) with 3060 props (and 20A ESCs). Looked like a pretty solid setup.
      Looking forward to seeing more videos from your 250G! Thanks again!

    Curious what your all up weight was on different setups in this vid. Found mine was 356g on 3s 1800mah with a bigger motor and some printed parts for the nose cam. Rebuilt it and shaved off 30ish grams. Was having some launch issues with it so heavy but in the air it flew great.

    • @NotamedClosed
      @NotamedClosed  Před 2 lety

      Lighter the better of course. I'm not sure on my weights. I have found a 3S 850mAh is my favorite battery. The lighter weight really keeps the plane responsive and maneuverable.

    Hi.. i want to use 2s only for my dart.. what prop is best for stock motor and kv? Or it is better to use higer kv motor?

    • @NotamedClosed
      @NotamedClosed  Před 9 měsíci

      I never had any luck with 2S. The stock prop and motor is very anemic on 2S.

    How is your reception in the cab of the truck? Been thinking about that as an option this winter.

    • @NotamedClosed
      @NotamedClosed  Před 2 lety +1

      With DJI it is great. With analog, definitely more of an issue. I'd recommend an external receiver for analog.
