  • This is the maiden of the ZOHD Dart 250g I bought here bit.ly/39kPmNB with a FULL RUN DOWN on my current setup as I'm using a 2S li-on pack for it with iNav, hence the flight times are CRAZY long! FULL setup details below, Press SHOW MORE to see them. Matt

    Nice video and informative 👍
    By the way, I just received my Dart250g and maiden lady Sunday,flew it with 3S 1000mah lipo, in manual mode, without the Kopilot.
    What I found to that, it is very sensitive, and influence by some level of winds condition; competitively it much difficult to handle than my old Z84 with similar setup; may I have your comment?
    Question about Dart250g would like to seek for your professional opinion:
    1) The CG spot is it in front of the CG point, behind the CG point, or on-top of the CG point?
    2) If the CG is right, does it need come level of reflection? Like about 2-3mm?
    Why I am asking these, is because during the maiden, I need holding the the elevator up about 10-15% on the Tx stick, whenever I speed up, else it will immediately nose down and hit to the ground quickly.
    Very much appreciate your kind advice.
    Thank you.

    Hi: when we talk about long range fvp, there is actually two things that have to be long range, right? ie the vtx has to be long range, and then the control inputs transmission and receiving has to be long range as well, right [ie crossfire/TBS/ELRS]?

    Hi: I am learning fpv. I was an RC flyer 20 years ago. So, back then, we used PMW or PWM receivers from airtronics or specktrum. Is that the reason that you use tbs or crossfire or ELRS instead? Ie: pwm only gets like 1 or 2 km max. So, if I buy a Zorro from Radiomaster, I should not try to get a pmw receiver, right? I should go for something like a module of some sort, right?

      FpvBerget it was an easy swap. If I decide I need more range I'll throw the akk back in. But for early setup and troubleshooting I wanted the option to turn down the power. Considering switching to 2.4 but in reality there aren't alot of places that are good for long range around me so I end up not really pushing the limits of my vtx anyway

    • @RagTheNutsOff
      @RagTheNutsOff  Před 3 lety +1

      Howdy Clay, it depends on your needs. If in doubt, go for the 10A ones. More head room for larger models. For me the Darty250g and Drift only pull 3A on a good day, so a 5A max is fine as it will have a burst of around 6A on launch and thats it. However in a mini talon, yea 10A might not be enough and you would probably double up anyway to make a 2P pack anyway. Matt

      Yes, I have other videos on making li-on packs. Its dead easy. As for 1P or 2P, 2P is twice the capcity, IF the model can take it. If it can take more, consider 3P! Also it may be easier to go to 4S 2P for more power over 3S setup. Matt

    • @RagTheNutsOff
      @RagTheNutsOff  Před 4 lety +2
