    Today, let's cover the INAV flight modes that you might want to use on your flying wing. Or any RC airplane in general: Position Hold, Angle, Return To Home, and others.

    Hello Powel! What a great series about INAV 5.0 you have! I have a couple of questions from this episode:
    1 Why are you coupling the Nav Althold mode to the Nav Cruise mode when the Nav Cruise mode itself handles the altitude?
    2 Why don't you use the continuous Autotrim in the Configurator instead of allocating a switch for that mode?

    doesn't the cruise hold the altitude, and it's necessary to add altitude hold?

    • @joemoffo9706
      @joemoffo9706 Před 2 lety +1

      I think you are correct. It used to be called 3D Cruise prior to Inav 3.0 when you had to add Alt Hold to Cruise.

    Pavel you are amazing as usual. Thanks.
    Is there a problem / forbidden that the Arm channel not be the last (12 in my case) and not immediately after the last Auxiliary channel?

    • @adilsongoliveira
      @adilsongoliveira Před 2 lety +1

      There's nothing that prohibits it unless you are using ELRS, in this case, is a requirement (well, technically you can have arming in another channel but it's unsafe). It is more a matter of best practice.

    Just one question... Are there any issues to have auto trim on all the time?
    Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

    • @FPVUniversity
      @FPVUniversity  Před 2 lety +1

      There is continous auto trim feature. The flight make auto trim trims only for a few seconds and then goes off

    Thanks for your tutorial! but I'm dying to see the next video covering the osd. I'm having problems with inav not showing the correct information. Such as enable (battery cell voltage) and something completely different shows up in the goggle osd. Even the satellite information is wrong. Not sure what's the issue but I hope I can figure it out.

    I always select constant autotrim...Why would it be on a switch as well?....🤔🤔😳🇬🇧 Informative video, thanks..

    thank you Pavel. About the Auto trim: instead to have it on the stick, I see that on INAV you can enable: Continuously trim servos on Fixed Wing. What is the best please?

    It must be tiring explaining the basics like how to set acro over and again, then again as engineers one has to wonder why this is needed.

    So with ‘Auto’ trim and tune on the same switch but with ‘trim’ first from the off position, suggests you should initiate auto trim first before auto tune, right?

    iNav 5.0 or RPM filtering configurator say must hast ESC telemetry, is it still need to be wired telemetry or can it get fro belheli32? FYI, motor remapping does not work, change it and apply and save reboot and it's back to 1234 original order and not change which motor spins.

    so people say i cant auto tune in angle mode but i do and it flys perfect. I just flew in acro yesterday for the first time and it flys great . people say that auto tune is meant for acro only. Is that true? because auto tune works great in angle mode for me every time to tune a new plane

    I am using INAV 7.0 and setup modes/switches just as you have here ,but when i add manual mode to lower range, and leave the top range open, ACRO mode never come in. The only way i am able to get the results you have is to use ANGLE mode instead. What have i done incorrectly?

    • @FPVUniversity

      No idea what might be but I expect one of the ranges is incorrect. Manual is independent from acro

    Thank you so much for this playlist, almost finish to build my first fpv wing following your tutorial
    In my case I have set just angle, manual and acro in a switch in that same sequence
    I'm curious about if I can set the cruise and althold in another switch for use it even when i'm flying in others flying mode or is required to disable one of the other for use it, by the way I don't have poshold on my inav modes tab, why could be?
