Unusual activity I get that alarm
The same thing has happened on my 2021 F250.
That really sucks.
My alarm goes of all the time …. I stopped locking it 2024 F250 Lariat Ultimate 7.3. 3000 miles. Need to take to the back to ford… what should I tell them to look at. I believe it’s the battery
I would ask them to check the battery, bcm and make sure the software is up to date. It took 3 trips and over a mo th before they eventually said the battery was so low that the truck was going basically haywire. The BCM was causing a parasitic draw on the battery dropping voltage. The update they said would adjust the sensitivity. If you have a battery tester, you could check it and see what if ant drain was on it, but if you drove it daily, it wouldn't be much. I drove mine every few days, and within 24 hours less than 50%.
@@automotiveinquiries9673 thanks I really only drive it maybe once a week.. I’m trying to put 5000 miles on to see if there are any other issues then take it in to the dealer..
@chrisfreeman8183 absolutely. It may be a low battery. I hope you dont have the same issues I had.
