Arduplane on the AR Pro - Finishing Airspeed

- Here's a quick flight with the AR Pro, using the Qiotek ASP5033 airspeed sensor. After getting it calibrated I turned it on for the AP to use it, seems to work well! I'm getting a slightly more efficient cruise than I was just setting a target throttle for auto modes. I'm sure I'll keep fine tuning things as I go, but so far I like what I see! I mentioned a few different idea for future projects, leave a comment below if you have any input! I'd like to hear it! Thanks for watching!

Nice to see the A/S sensor working so well. In watching I learned that AdruPilot is using A/S to set throttle setting (% throttle is at a steady ~30% to maintain steady 40 mph A/S)

I've just bought the Qiotek ASP5033 and plugged it into a PixHawk. Apart from selecting ASP5033 and "Use Airspeed" on the AirSpeed page in Mission Planner was there anything else you needed to do? I have plugged mine in and done this, but not getting any readings. Do you have any thoughts on how to get help?
Good too see the Qiotek arspd sensor working properly, So it must of been just the placement on the Reptile huh? Would love to see you setup a xuav clouds in arduplane, Im getting started on one soon, If I ever get off my but, lol. Good job...
ordered my F765wse 9 days ago but still waiting for it to get into the US. Waiting on just that so I can finish my Skywalker Titan build and get it flying nicely before winter.
Did you receive your matek f765-wse? I switched as well to matek f765-wse from vector and am amazed at how good ardupilot is (flying the plane + telemetry etc)
Is this Qgroundcontrol you're using for gauges/telemetry, or another software? I think you mentioned what it was at one point, but I didn't quite catch what it was.
whats your take on the dragon link vs say the crossfire or the siyi hm30?
Any plans to do an ardu wing setup like you did for INav. Would love to setup a plane on ardu to try.

As for the ESC/gps issue, maybe move the ESC to the front bay just behind the battery if you have room. Takes weight leveraging the tail out to allow for less weight in the nose to balance on CG. Might bring down your AUW as well. I tried it on mine and the ESC is a little cooler and I dropped about 20 grams of nose weight that can be used up on assets like cams and peripherals. Just a suggestion
I have a matek 765 wing and arduplane 4.1.0 can't set the attitude right, always have the absolute attitude not the relative one in my osd and telemetry, but it is ok in the computer (ardupilot). Any tips? :)
Hi bonafidepirate, congratulation good flight! ......... are you using DL internal wifi or Mav2PT to get telemetry on QCS? I see the delay on artifical horizont is small comparing to OSD horizont which is almost in real time. I am using Mav2PT and seems delay on artifical horizont much longer then OSD. Not sure what could be the reason?!
Hi . I was using ardupilot auto takeoff in my the ArWing pro , but it crashed . I am using a sunnysky 2216 1400kv with 8x6 prop. And 4s 4000mAh lipo. Do you think it not enough power to put this wing airbone? What power combo in in yours? Can you share the tkoff params. From yours please? Thanks
Good to see airpeed sensor is working, but I also see the exact same problem I have with the AR Wing pro and Ardupilot 4.1 when in cruise mode. You see the plane slowly swinging from left to right when in cruise mode when you don't touch the sticks, do you know how to fix this? I aslo have problems with updating over telemetry when flying like updating waypoints, or flight modes etc. I'm thinking switching over from Crossfire to Dragonlink, but you now also have problems with AP4.2 and Dragonlink, does it normally work great?
