If you want to master something, teach it. The more you teach, the better you learn. Teaching is a powerful tool to learning - Richard Feynman.

    This is so true.
I got into 3D printing and CAD designing because of FPV.
I learned soldering because of FPV. I learned about radio signals, even got a little bit into coding.
It's just such a motivating hobby, that hard tasks suddenly feel easy, because you have fun doing them.

Quite literally all points mentioned apply perfectly. I learned soldering and landed a dream job in antenna production cause of it, later 3d printing and cad design came easily when you have a hobby that encourages self paced learning

Necessity is the mother of all invention. FPV is all about multi-disciplinary aptitude. You necessarily must be good at so many skills to be a well rounded pilot.

How was this a deleted scene? Glad we got to see it now though. Drone Karen's should just be handed a copy of this video to watch. Thanks JB for everything you do to build this hobby up and keep it growing.

Using drones in STEM is brilliant. So many different skillsets involved. The sense of accomplishment. The constant learning. I'm old. There were no computers when I went to high school. So I got into it later in life as I have RC aircraft. Had a STEM program been in place with todays technology when I was young, my life likely would have taken a different path. Cause I love this shit.

The biggest challenge today in education is literacy. Without the basics none of this is going to happen.
Sure it's an incentive to those who are literate but for those kids sitting back, it's just a bridge too far.
Many engineers are dyslexic in some degree. Those that overcome the problem are usually high achievers and good at spacial conception.
If want to help kids check them all for literacy and numeracy first as part of your project.
    Don't leave anyone behind.

FLOWSTATE. Keep pushing innovation. It has most the OGs for one cause enlightening people possibly the F.A.A. and be history. Luckily these people have venues and were able to make money. I wonder how much AI will play into stem education. I loved seeing big companies constantly competing on 5in BNFs. Thats were alot of innovation happened. Now alot of it seems recycled, aside from cineliftere. although it has gotten easier to build your own. it takes some of the fun out of it. It seams tailored to props. 2205 3.6 is the new standard. Only one prop made as of now. But emax sells a set for the price of one. That's why pilots are held back. I Understand inflation and maybe it's for a good reason. Rid the #senditwee so we can actually get or rights back. Finally have the battery tech comming along. I mean rc planes have been a hobby for years. Making a 3.6in 700 gram quad is the closest scale but why? I like the cnc platforms. Cameras everywhere. X lock tech. I'd take that over LEDs all day.

As much as I respect Feynman I disagree. If you want to understand something put your home on it. It's the $$$$ that give you the real incentive.
