I know this guy is a professional mechanic but it's amazing how easy it looks to install a leveling lift kit for these new pickups no more customize the lift kit for every truck every truck has a custom lift kit for them basically almost anyone can do this with a few tools
If I already have a Rough country pre-loaded spacer in with the coil. Does that mean I just need to put in the UCA, top spacer on the front coil and rear spacers?
Hey there! It allows you to move the lower control arm a little further without stressing the axle, so you can pull out the strut and reinstall easier. Hope that helps.
I have a 2016 Ram 1500 Quadcab 4wd Ecodiesel. My dealer has never given me issues on the warranty. I have dealt with the emmissions recalls and other recalls. I have the Readylift upper control arms, with Bilstein 5100 shocks lifting the truck 3 inches. I had the shocks first. The polyurethane bushings give incredible improvements in handljng. You get a little more steering wheel feedback on bad pavement. But the ride is improved. The Bilstein 5100's feel much nicer. On twisty, curvy roads, the handling makes a full size pickup feel like a more nimble mid size.
Lol... Just traded my 4th Gen Loaded up Laramie for a brand new 5th Gen and you are sooooo wrong, I loved the 4th gen but once you sit in and drive a 5th Gen there us absolutely no comparison

So the new control arms correct the ball joint angle? And the ball joint itself gets upgraded to a ball joint from a 1 ton ram?

How do you get rid of the squeaky bushings...Is there a spot to great or should I use anti seize? My truck just started to squeak after 6 months

Only if your truck is prelifted/leveled and or has the off-road package.

why is that preload spacer there?
The 3.5" lift is gained by a mixture of the proload spacer and the top hat spacer. About 2" from the preload and 1.5" from the top hat spacer.
