I am thinking about buying one of these trailers for use as both a light utility trailer on the road behind my truck but, mostly as a work trailer I can pull behind an ATV off road. After watching, I am much more likely to choose this trailer over some others I have looked at.

This is a good top. Not perfect but good. If you have a hard top and want to use this for a summer top its perfect. It does leak a bit when your going through a car wash, but not terribly I have not seen any leaks when it is raining. The folding back front section is awesome and I use it all the time. The front is kind of creaky especially when it is windy, but its solid. Its a soft top so yes its loud. Its good enough that I will probably use this well into the fall even when the weather starts turning colder

Super easy installation. I did it this morning. Looks great. I didn't use the tailgate weather stripping. Seems unnecessary.

The latch on mine will not open all of the way. It's as if it is stuck on something and will not fully turn.

Bolts you mentioned for cleats and racks were backwards. Long for the racks short for the cleats. Also bak now makes a t slot rail for there cover so no need for the elevate rail so tonneau can be more flush

This is my second gator cover, first one I bought about seven years ago and got my use out of it. Liked enough to buy another one and noticed some upgrades. The spring loaded holddowns are nice. Did notice the directions need to be updated because they’re still showing the old version of the brackets. The suggestion about the QR code going to your directions was a good point. Very well put together video.

There’s an old saying that form follows function… these look cool which attracts sales, but the functionality is questionable, and the long term durability is doubtful.

What grade are the bolts?

does it come with the 3" square lights??

Anyone here that installed theirs themselves have any issues with the reverse lights not coming on during night time, only during daytime when the front lights are off? Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

It’s amazing how much just my RealTruck X4TS cover and Elevate rack has brought my truck the life. The cover keeps our hockey gear dry at tournaments and the rack helps me get my kayak to and from the lake.
