I had an issue with the (33gal) fuel tank skid plate making contact with the drivers side rear UCA relocation bracket. I had to remove the left rear hanging bracket for the skid plate, cut off the corner of the skid plate, and drill a new mount hole through the skid plate for the mount.
After double checking all my work, and trimming the skid plate, this caused me a good two hours extra work.

Well you guys ever do one but for a 2003 dodge ram a quad cab.. want to take it to Mexico and have fun. Get it fixed up and know i habe a amzing setup
What size and kind of wheel
set up the black ford have? In the back ground ?
does this install differ from a 4th gen ram?
How long did it take To install this kit without the extra filming and stuff like that.

I installed the lift kit but now my camera not working.. any idea why?
Our kit wouldn't affect the cameras, but not knowing what if any other mods were made at the same time it's hard to diagnose why. Have you checked with the installer?
When you reconnect a track bar do you put the bolt through the top hole or the bottom hole on new driver side mount?
Sorry I have the Zone Offroad one it looks like that bracket only has one mounting hole for the track bar mine has two
Do you feel this install can be done by someone with good mechanical knowledge even though I have never done one before?
If you’re mechanically inclined sure. As long as you have all the tools and space. I’ve seen quite a few videos of guys doing them on their own. But it does take a while. Especially if it’s your first one or you’re dealing with any sort of rust. Some guys end up taking 8 hours or more because they’re leaning as they go. Doable but if you don’t have the time or patience to spread the work out over a few days like some guys do then you’re better off spending a few hundred to have someone install it. IMO anyways. What’s $300 when you’re already spending potentially $2500 for a good lift kit?
@@Jay-hp6pu if it was only a few hundred, I’d never install my own lift kits. Most shops charge $100+ an hour for labor. I was quoted over $1,000 by two different shops. For that reason, I just did it myself. But I’m fortunate enough to have access to a lift and all the necessary tools.
how cone no more upper control arm option? i used it before with coil overs for a little more lift in front.. worked great..
There is still an option to purchase UCAs.
I just got this lift kit, did you guys add a new brake line that we have to install as well for the newer kits?
We include a pair of front SS brake lines with this kit. In the rear it uses brake line extension brackets.
What do you torque the tie rod end nut to? (The nut under the knuckle that holds the tie rod end into place?
I don't think mechanics torque anything anymore they just use an air gun and call it good.....smh

Is this install just for the rebel or is it the same for all 5th gen 1500 models?
It should be for all 5th Gen RAM 1500 models.
So this kit does not require frame cutting?
The kit does require trimming the OE LCA pockets, its outlined around @13:30 in the video
Front brake lines seem tight.
we use relocation brackets with this kit which allows sufficient slack at full droop of the suspension.
Same process for the 4" kit?
